Texture update[]

Soon, the texture update will arrive. I believe we need to retexture every pictures in the wiki. Do we need to start a project? Skylord wars (talk) 13:16, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Skylord wars, we will need to do that eventually, and we should probably start a project at some point. However, in my opinion, I think we should wait until there is a little bit more information about the texture update. I know that they already know what the textures will be, but it's still possible that the update won't be released for a very long time. However, I don't think it would hurt start uploading them - I'm just not quite sure if a project would be necessary just yet.--Madminecrafter12TalkContributions 15:51, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

Bedrock game files[]

Does anyone know where the game files of the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft located? I only know the place for saves, resource packs and behavior packs. Note that I want the Windows 10 version.--Skylord wars (talk) 05:59, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Skylord wars The files are stored in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps, this is a hidden folder though and even on an administrator account you won't have permission to open it, i had to fight with windows for over 30 minutes to get into mine. If you just need a copy of the files though i can give you a mediafire link to the files for 1.2.20.1. jjlr (talk) 07:18, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. There is a download link for the latest recommended version 1.20.30. It's from Mojang. Resource pack and behavior packs.--Skylord wars (talk) 14:15, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Texture pack really Java only?[]

I've never had Minecraft on a console, so when I updated Texture pack I first read it very carefully and studied its update history to understand what it said before people started changing it for Bedrock. According to its History section, the old Java texture packs were also used in Console Edition for a while. That's why I changed the {{exclusive}} template to say Java and Legacy Console Edition. Your edit removed the latter from the template. I realize that it no longer applies to LCE, but then it no longer applies to Java either, so it still seems to me it should have both...or neither. Why do you think Legacy Console Edition shouldn't be included but Java should? – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 12:01, 28 April 2018 (UTC)

The difference between Java's texture pack and LCE's texture pack are that LCE's texture are DLC. I believe each version needs to have their own page of their customization settings. Plus, if you think this page should contain Legacy Console Edition, why is that section removed? This entire page mainly consists of Java Edition's texture pack. We also dont want readers to confuse between Java and LCE. Legacy Console Edition texture pack should be in a different article. Since Bedrock and Console are very similar, Texture pack/DLC should instead be used for Console. The community-made resource pack for Bedrock should be in Add-ons. I hope you understand. I removed the Legacy Console Edition section because it was next to the New Nintendo 3DS Edition section and it wasn't in the page last summer, but I see now that I made a mistake there. It was there, it was just called "Console Edition" (of course, since we hadn't started the renaming project yet). I was also confused about what the old Console Editions were able to do with texture and mash-up packs. Most of the article is about how to create and install texture packs, not about what packs were available, so I saw that as the focus, and when I noticed that the history said they were added to TU12, etc., I thought it meant consoles had the same abilities. What you're saying is the way I used to think it worked before I got confused. I think I need to undo some of what I did; I'll work on it later today. Also, this was just a first step toward restructuring all the pages about customization and DLC. I think it's all mixed up at the moment. Since you seem interested, I'd like us to work out a plan together. I don't have time right now, but I'm going to think about your suggestions and get back to you, ok? – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 15:29, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, all the pages about texture packs seems to mixed up and confusing. The page Texture Pack should be rewritten. I will remove the tutorial section as it's for another page. Skylord wars (talk) 00:30, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Creation of Pocket Edition Alpha[]

I suggest creating an article about Pocket Edition Alpha. IF there are pages like Classic, Alpha and Beta, why can't there be a development phase called Pocket Edition Alpha? I might soon move this to the Community portal talk page.--skylord_wars (talk) 11:04, 11 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi.[]

Hi. I was wondering, could you show me how to make my name into the Mojangles font like you? Blueblurnineteenninetyone (talk) 14:57, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

Just use the font
font-family:minecraft
Hopefully that helps--skylord_wars (talk) 15:34, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

Your edit graph is broken![]

I was looking through the community portal and I found your posts, then I clicked on this link you posted about leaking Bedrock 1.6x, and went back to your user space. I just wanted to say, your edit graph is a bit broken and goes off the page!

I also prefer the source editor :) (I do have an account, I just can't sign in from China.)
