In one of your recent edits to Tutorials/Defeating_the_ender_dragon, you removed content or templates from a page without a valid explanation. In the future, make sure to leave a valid edit summary when removing content, and do not remove any content if it's useful to the page. Please make use of the MCWiki sandbox or your own sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.Wikipedia-logo psl85 (talkcontribs) 19:40, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi, could you please explain why you keep removing the content from the page? I feel like you're a constructive editor, but the content you keep removing is useful, and you're not leaving any kind of edit summary to explain the removal. Do you have a reason for removing that much useful content? If so, by all means do so but explain why. Thanks!-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed TerracottaTalk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta 19:51, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

Ender Dragon Bossfight Checklist section on Tutorials/Defeating the ender dragon[]

Hi. You keep reverting other people's edits to this section name, for example Special:Diff/1269036, Special:Diff/1270690, and Special:Diff/1270698. We have tried to explain our reasons for changing it in our edit summaries, but you keep repeating the same justification in yours. Obviously, that's never going to get us anywhere. When conflicts like this occur, we're expected to discuss it on a talk page and come to a consensus, so that's what I'm doing.

Speaking for myself, I have several objections to the section name you provided. The main one is that it simply isn't descriptive, despite what you say. It might be descriptive in another context, but on a page about defeating the ender dragon it's pretty obvious that you're going to fight the ender dragon boss mob, so your title doesn't really add anything except that what follows is a checklist. I prefer "Preparation checklist", which distinguishes it from other checklists that might apply (for example, you could have a checklist for the loot to collect after winning or for things to do before jumping into the exit portal).

My second objection is the capitalization style you used. Our style guide requires that section names have an initial capital only (except for proper nouns), so even if we do ultimately decide to use your section name, it needs to be spelled differently. My last objection is that there is no such word as "bossfight"; it's "boss fight" in Urban Dictionary and all other authoritative sources.

So, please explain why you disagree with my argument, assuming you do. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 16:54, 23 October 2018 (UTC)

Stop icon You and the other IP address you edit from have edit warred with changing the capitalization of these headings many, many times on this page, despite several warnings and several reverts. I am typically against blocking people for making contributions in good faith, especially if many of their contributions are constructive, and this issue isn't too severe, but because of just how many times you've done this and how many times you've been invited to discuss this issue but refused, I will have no choice but to block you temporarily if you do this again. Competence is required when editing wikis, and if you are going to contradict long-standing guidelines, you should be able to clearly explain your reasoning and discuss the issue when other users point this out and warn you. This is not the only problem there's been. There have been been issues with removing content from pages without explaining why and not communicating, which lead to a block on your other IP address, and many other smaller issues where you refuse to communicate, which lead to a block from this IP address. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know, but to repeat, doing this again will lead to a block. Thank you.-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed TerracottaTalk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta 18:00, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
I've blocked you for 3 days. I'm sorry that it had to come down to this, but you have persistently made disruptive edits and refused to communicate, and have been warned repeatedly. You were also blocked before and have edited from another IP and account. I hope that once this block ends, you'll be more willing to communicate with other users regarding edits you make, or you'll likely have to receive a longer block. If you think there are good reasons for you to be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block here.-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed TerracottaTalk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta 20:55, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
