− | Breeding rules: |
||
− | * Foal takes one of the colors of its parents with 8/9 probability. With 1/9 chance offspring will have a random color. |
||
− | * Foal always takes one of the markings of its parents. |
||
− | * Values for max health, jump strength and speed are calculated using the following formula: |
||
− | :<code>(1st_parent's_value + 2nd_parent's_value + random_value_for_horse) / 3</code> |
||
− | ::(<code>random_value_for_horse</code> - taken from the first row from table above, even when foal is a donkey or a mule) |
||
− | :Example #1: if you breed two horses with 30 max health, the foal will have (30 + 30 + 15..30)/3 = (75..90)/3 = 25..30 max health. |
||
− | :Example #2: if you breed two horses with 24 max health, the foal will have (24 + 24 + 15..30)/3 = (63..78)/3 = 21..26 max health. |
||
− | :Example #3: if you breed horses with 15 and 30 max health, the foal will have (15 + 30 + 15..30)/3 = (60..75)/3 = 20..25 max health. |

Brewing redo
Potion-brewing Rules
- Base potions are created by brewing a single reagent with a Water Bottle. For most potions, this first reagent will be Nether Wart, to produce an Awkward Potion. The exception is the potion of Weakness, which can be brewed in several ways, including from a plain water bottle.
- Primary potions are created by combining a distinctive ingredient with the base potion.
- Secondary potions are created by brewing a Fermented Spider Eye with a primary potion, producing a "reversed" effect.
- Primary and secondary potions can also be enhanced by brewing them with one of two "dusts":
- Redstone increases duration, multiplying it by 2 2⁄3 (that is 8⁄3). Potions without duration (Healing and Harming) cannot be brewed with Redstone.
- Glowstone dust enhances the effect to "Tier II" at the cost of half the duration. Potions with no Tier II effect available (Weakness, Slowness, Fire Resistance, Night Vision, Invisibility) cannot be brewed with glowstone.
- Attempting to use both glowstone and redstone on the same potion will result in a "reverted" potion: The original enhancement is lost, but if the new enhancement can be applied to the potion, it will be.
- A third "dust", gunpowder, converts the potion to a splash potion, but reduces the maximum duration to ¾ of what it was for the drinkable potion. The duration of a splash potion will be further reduced according to how far the victim was from the potion's impact point. (Healing and Harming potions instead have less effect further from the impact point.)
- In general, once the primary potion is created, it doesn't matter what order ingredients are added in.
Base potions
Base potions are created by brewing a single reagent with a Water Bottle. Nearly all potions require the Awkward Potion (made with Nether Wart) as a base. The exception is the Potion of Weakness, which can be made directly from a Water Bottle or any other base.
