Hey guys! I am a Minecraft fan, I have made a whole heap of useful changes to the Mods and Outdated Mods Page and I am the Official Curator of the [[Mods]] Page, as well as its subpages including [[Mods/Outdated]] and [[Mods/Installing_Mods]], as well as the individual mods pages. I love technology and Minecraft is epic. I have to thank Notch, Jeb and the guys at Mojang.

I thought it looked interesting, and uncovered my long lost Minecraft.exe which was buried somewhere in my games folder. He told me that I could do a force update, but there was no option on this early version of Minecraft. I then remember running up to my locker and back to get my USB. He gave me Minecraft, the Hacked Anjo-Caido version (although I didn't realise it at the time). The current version back then was Beta 1.8.1.

This world lost its charm and is now available for download here.

Hey guys! My experience with Minecraft

How I got to know Minecraft

In early 2011, a school friend gave me Minecraft. I vaguely remember a few details: INVedit, Minecraft Version 1.2 and I also remember that it was a hacked version.

For the next few months, I didn't really have much to do with Minecraft. No-one at school was playing it (people were playing other games such as Halo and COD) and Minecraft almost disappeared.

Then in September 2011, I remember having forgotten my sport gear. Another friend had also forgotten his gear. I remember him opening his laptop and opening Minecraft.

I started my first world in Creative mode. The very first memory of this world was clearing grass for a massive home. My very first house was built out of brick and had 4 levels, each level 5 blocks high. I also remembered making a very long railway track, using predominantly power rails. This world lost its charm and is now available for download here.

My first experience of multiplayer came in November 2011 where I had to create a house that would be suitable in the desert on Minecraft. I worked with a few friends on our desert house which ended up kind of failed due to the server being set up in offline mode, where our house was griefed several times by annoying classmates.

By the beginning of December 2011, I had more or less mastered the basics of survival mode. I wanted to play on real public servers, but unfortunately I was still using the hacked Minecraft Launcher. In the term break, I bought a Minecraft account under the username goandgoo. Having a legitimate account brought new horizons to the wonderful world of Minecraft.

My experience with watching Minecraft on Youtube started with the Hatventures 1.8 Trailer on the TeamMojang Channel. One of my favourite series, and the series in which I watched all episodes was the Skyblock Series. My Youtube subscription list steadily started to grow, with the addition of the Yogcast channel, CraftedMovie, Antvenom, Chimneyswift11 and Caveman Films.
