New Nether Fossils?[]
1.16 introduces the Nether fossils in the soul sand valleys. They are technically a different structure, but I still believe that they should be described here. I added a "Needs update" template to show this, however my edit has been reverted and it seems like some people think Nether fossils deserve a separate tutorial. I believe that we need to discuss this a bit.
Reasons for merging the tutorials:
- Tutorials for both of these would be quite small and I'm not sure that splitting them into different articles is worth it.
- Ultimately, people will visit this page just because they want to harvest bone blocks, and they probably won't care about which biome they come from.
- Most tutorials are split into many sections, where each one describes its own method of doing X, and I believe that desert fossils and nether fossils could also be just different sections.
Tutorials/Diamonds does something similar, where they describe not just mining techniques but also things like villager trading.
Reasons against merging:
- I imagine that there won't be too much overlap between these two tutorials.
