Meaning of certain phrases

1. "One-touch apply" means something like "installing additional content in one touch, without requiring confirmation or reboot", or am I wrong?

Dispute over mention of censorship in lead section

• (1) I added a mention of Minecraft China’s text censorship to the lead section, as well as a a short description of NetEase.

• (2) BDJP007301 reverted the edit as “superfluous information.”

• (3) I reaffirmed my change (this time without the description of NetEase) because the bit about censorship “succinctly explains why Minecraft China even exists.”

• (4) BDJP007301 again reverted the edit as “still superfluous” without offering any further explanation.

As far as I can tell, Minecraft wiki’s style guide does not mention lead sections, however, Wikipedia’s style guide says that the lead should include a “summary of its most important contents” (emphasis mine). Articles on the Minecraft Wiki follow this convention, such as the the article Minecraft which repeats information in the lead section even though it is already mentioned in the body of the article. Since the censorship of in-game text is one of the most significant parts of Minecraft China, it should be included in the lead section. 65.121.56.30 02:45, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

The Minecraft Wiki style guide says “Although Wikipedia already provides a more general style guide, a more specific one is necessary for Minecraft-specific guidelines. As such, only guidelines pertaining to the Minecraft Wiki and its basic formatting rules are included here.” In other words, Minecraft Wiki follows Wikipedia’s style guide except where otherwise noted. I think there should be a "censorship" or "controversy" section on the page if there is a lot of things being censored or otherwise interfered with by the Chinese government. Mojang may not agree if it gets them into hot water.14.201.60.87 09:37, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Shutting down of Chypixel or Hypixel China

Nowhere in the article do I see mentions or even references to the Chinese version of Hypixel being shut down in June of 2020. The Chaos/Apocalypse and Three Kingdoms: Chibi Game modes

Should these really be included? The official website refers to the Chaos/Apocalypse thing as a "Brand-New Mod" ( Source: https://mc.163.com/index.html ) If they do stay then Interstellar Adventure: Forced Descent should also be added (Source: https://mc.163.com/2020/jidumod/xjtx.html ) and Lunar Eclypse: Light and Dark ( Source: https://mc.163.com/news/media/20201205/29178_919737.html ) I think that if we don't remove them we should double down, and provide more in depth and up to date information about them using the official Minecraft China website as a source. – Unsigned comment added by Deadlygolemg (talk • contribs) at 22:30, 9 April 2021‎ (UTC). Malicious link warnings

I’m scared someone will click on one of the links to the download page and get spyware or something like that on their device. As a result, I’ve started implementing “open at your own risk” warnings next to links to those pages. This is a safety issue, and the new notes are an attempt at resolving it. With all due respect, any link on the web is unsafe by nature, and users should be held responsible for every link they open. Not all Chinese websites and software are unsafe. Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that China Edition contains any spyware, and it is an official Mojang-approved product. Since Mojang/Microsoft websites do not have such warnings, it does not make sense to add them to NetEase websites. Adding a blanket warning is not helpful as it creates unnecessary fear and discrimination towards Chinese websites and software products. It is crucial to provide accurate and specific warnings only when necessary. Based on the above, I have reverted your edits, and I believe that warnings may be added if a community consensus on this topic is reached. -- Dianliang233 ^T•_C 03:10, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
