Mob Health regen

Do we know whether mobs regenerate health naturally outside of splash potions or feeding them? I couldn't seem to find anything on this page. Aepokk (talk) 05:51, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

They don't, except for Horses, Donkeys, Mules, Llamas and the Wither. Iwer Sonsch (talk) 08:51, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

Healing

I once made an article for the German wiki on the different ways of Healing. If you are interested in that topic, I could try and start translating it into English. Iwer Sonsch (talk) 08:49, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

Death (new article)

should IMO be an article on its own. The core of the information is already available in the English wiki, but there is so much more to write about that topic. I could again translate part of it from the German page. Iwer Sonsch (talk) 11:22, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

Agree. Having noticed that we now have Health, Healing and Damage articles, that thought did occur to me as well. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 14:43, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

New death message found in Console edition

There is a new message on Minecraft about Magma Block when a player is fighting/escaping the player/mob or a hit knockback of a player/mob, add that death message--207.204.184.134 16:01, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

Bedrock Edition/Fatal Poison

I couldn't seem to make that death message appear, when I gave the effect to myself, all it said was [player] was killed by magic. Let me know if you get the same message or not! :) –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Fezemerald (talkcontribs) at 14:26, 3 January 2019‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

You should feedback this issue on Bug tracker. --Angrydog001 (talk) 14:29, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
I know I'm over a year late to this, but I think that's how it's supposed to be when you die of fatal poison in bedrock.213.205.192.230 16:06, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Another new death

is:

  • player turned into bacon
  • player became a pancake

Verification

These death messages have the "verify" template:

  • [player] fell into a patch of fire
  • [player] fell into a patch of cacti
  • [player] was shot off some vines by [mob/player]
  • [player] was shot off a ladder by [mob/player]
  • [player] was blown from a high place by [mob/player]

For the first two, I tried them on Bedrock Edition and they didn't work. I don't know about the others.--ManosSef (talk) 14:41, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

Ok, I found that these and a TON more existed in some snapshots of Java Edition 1.5. There was a strange system for falling death messages back then. When I make the death messages a separate page I will have a section for this system. ManosSef (talk) 19:14, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Well, fell into a patch of fire/cacti would never show up by themselves. They would be part of a message like "Player was blown from a high place and into a patch of fire". ManosSef (talk) 19:16, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Peaceful regen?

Can anyone confirm that health does in fact have an exclusive passive regen effect in peaceful mode and that it's not just a side effect of having full hunger (and saturation?). MMK21 07:40, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

There is, if you forcefully (with commands) deplete your hunger, you still regen like speed ----Humiebee Discuss anything with me Look at my edits 19:48, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

Bedrock Edition Creative Mode

I assumed there was a typo in the sentence I edited as I did not see the "Bedrock Edition" until after I already published it. If someone can confirm that being in Creative Mode in Bedrock Edition grants immunity to the Void and /kill, then please revert my edit. 32.211.134.55 17:27, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

It actually does grant you immunity. ----Humiebee Discuss anything with me Look at my edits 17:28, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

New death screen

I was playing in 1.16.2 release candidate 1 and when I died, it said "You Died!" instead of "You died!" and "Title Screen" instead of "Title screen". I'm not sure if it's me or an option I have turned on, but the capitalisation is odd. 213.205.192.230 16:10, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Absolute maximum health

So at very high Health Boost levels, I noticed that the mob's health is always maxed at 1024, regardless of their normal maximum health, does this mean 1024 HP is the absolute maximum health for a mob? 99.225.26.102 22:49, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

death screen title changed

in java edition beta 1.9 pre-release 2 the game over death screen title changed from "game over" to "you died" in survival non hardcore

Merchandise at the bottom

Edit: I found the shirt at the bottom, it's just hidden by default on Minecraft stores.
