Version History

Creeper sounds bug proven otherwise

I own a Kindle fire running Android 4.1 cyanogenmod, and the creepers make their explosion sound perfectly fine.

Update Game! Block

I think someone should create an article about the "Update Game! Block"

The "Update Game! Block" is as it says, a placeholder for more blocks to come, similar to the recent update in Minecraft v1.2.0 snapshot 12w07b that says "Up to 4096 block IDs can be used." This is basically what it is for. Choolio123 23:41, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Suggestion for the PE version history

I've known that we keep both (iOS/Android) version of the PE. They are essentially the same game, just in different OS, so, shouldn't it be better to just to keep the one "changes list" and just add the dates in the left side? (Instead of making a duplicates) I didn't change anything, because I'm fairly new in wiki-language, and didn't want to mess up anything here. Vault101 19:35, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Well I personally feel that we should keep them separate because they do not contain the exact same updates. Also, it would be more confusing to the newer user to see one box and have different OS's in them. Choolio123 04:16, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

They should remain separate as they won't always have the same changes, and (especially with the huge delay with approval on the Apple app store) they'll almost always be released on different dates, which might be confusing. –User:Ultradude25 ^{(User:Ultradude25/t|User:Ultradude25/c)} at 03:52, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Bug Report

There is a BUG for falling sand and gravel on Slabs on the "lower" part, closed trapdoor , Torch , Seeds , Signs, etc of the non-solid blocks. Please fix it for 0.7.0 for iOS (Pocket Edition). It can't be obtainable. It must be like PC. Maybe if you add a "0.6.2" for bug fixes. Minecraftaddict154 09:19, 12 March 2013 (UTC) There is a bug that allows you to place ladders on snow. When placed, the ladders are invisible, but still have collision and replace the snow that was once there. When a block next to the invisible ladder is updated, then the invisible ladder breaks. I'm quite new to the wiki and PE (not the PC version), but AFAIK the split touch controls are supposed to only place blocks on the crosshairs although this is listed as a bug. -WeeHeeHee

New Update 2.1 With bugs

Updated: -New control option; Split

-Faster rotating
-A cross like in real minecraft

-Added Pigs -New fly controls

-Slide from the jump button to the up or down buttons.

-The block selection screen UI is changed a little bit.

Bugs: -7 slots with normal controls. -Pigs and sheep are rare. Zombies are very common

3.0 bugs on EVO 3D

-Some icons in the inventory and crafting table is invisible or uses the wrong texture (one of the pickaxes has the three dots ...)

-The torches are duplicated in the crating table

Fires

• Yesterday, when I was playing Minecraft Pocket Edition on my iPad, I was on local Multiplayer with someone, and they somehow started a fire which spread and burned all the dirt on the land. Has anyone else noticed this feature? Should we add it to the page? I can try to screenshot it. Zchwte 17:04, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

It's a bug on Minecraft 0.30 and it's a major bug. This always happens in the seed: nyan

No Cow Hurt sounds/a bug?

Guys, I think this is a bug. The cow hurt sound is missing when you hit a sound on 0.3.0 Minecraft PE, reply if this is a bug so I will state this on the Pocket Edition version history page under the 0.3.0 section under the Bugs section. Dlpham 19:14, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Front Page

The update has been out for a week and the front page still says iOS version is in 0.3.2...

0.3.3 Bug

In creative mode, you can kill people with a bow, causing them to drop their stuff. This at least works with an Android User shooting an IOS user. Prove me wrong.

0.4.0 rev 2

0.4.0 rev 2 was just released to the iOS app store (Sep 14th). Fixes verbatim from iOS description:

• Added support for iPhone 5 resolution
• Trapdoor can now be crafted
• Added TNT and a new stone brick to creative inventory

Unlimited doors

In version 0.4.0 of Minecraft PE you can place a glass block down and make a door when u try to place the door it doesnt work but it gives u 2 doors back and i have so many doors right now it isnt even funny :)

Someone doesn't know the rules...

Look what some careless person added for bugs for 0.5.0:

"Sometimes when harvesting seeds with a hoe (stone i know) the seeds still go through the block it was harvested from (happened twice)."

Besides terrible spelling and grammar (how can you write 'I' with small case?!?), it's at the wrong place.

To prevent noobs from adding such things, shouldn't we have a warning message at the top of the page?

Minecraft PE Gold pickaxe breaks fast

I build a gold pickaxe and it broke fast. I got atleast 20 stones while using

It how gold works its breaks stuff fast but doesn't last long. On PC It lasts for me 29 times but on PE It lasts 21 so I would agree but Im not sure if its a bug they probably miss did the code slightly on MCPE.69.66.144.47 20:26, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

Melons

I broke 2 Melon blocks and I got 11 Melon slices. I did not see the Melon block crafting interface and the Melon seeds. I think that's because melons have a red background. Please fix in Jeb in 0.5.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fart98753 07:33, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Disappearing of blocks

I updated to the new version 0.6.0. When I did the update, I lost more than 50% of my progress. I made alot of cobblestone steps and single platforms. I have spent alot of hrs and time doing this. After I did the update. and logged back in, my blocks were gone, all my progress was gone. I am very dissapointed of all the time wasted. Is there any help or solution I can get from anyone to resolve this matter. I would truly apprciate a respose, good or bad, to let me know this matter has been looked at at least.

Why In versionn history it should be Versions or what would be best.

i can not connect with other pocket edition players anymore that was the only reason i got minecraft

I am mad i can not connect with my friends and that is the reason why i got Minecraft at first minecraft was fun and then u made sand and gravel fall and that was enough i wasted all my house on gravel and sand and it ruined all of them i WAS MAD THEN BUT NOW I AM FURIOUS u need to let people connect with other pocket edition players via WIFI it would be better though without the VIA WIFI so i could connect with friends far away i have already paid so i do not want to pay more 6.99! THAT IS ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE GAME!(A FUN GAME)I LOVE MINECRAFT BUT U NEED TO FIX THAT QUICK OR I WILL ASK FOR A REFUND AND SO WILL YOUR OTHER 7893 PLAYERS!
