Shoghi Cervantes is a member of Mojang AB. Before working on Minecraft, he worked on (and is the founder of) PocketMine, which is a server software for Bedrock Edition.
He currently works for the team of development for Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Dungeons.[4]

- He is red-green colorblind.[5][6]
- A splash in Pocket Edition is titled "Blame shogchips!", referencing a joke site which allowed users to 'blame' Shoghi.[7]
