How copying will be done?

How copying will be done? Do we create a redirects from the new userbox namespace, or move the actual userboxes into new resting place, or is it a straight-up copying? --Naista2002, now NickTheRed37 (talk) 21:49, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Perhaps I didn't word it clearly: We're straight-up copying them so people using the existing userbox links won't have their pages broken. Plus, it's against wiki rules to edit pages in others' userspaces. - Exhelah ^{t - c} 21:52, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Can't the userboxes just be moved with the "Move" button? You can change the page type to be moved, like for example, from "Talk" to "Template". It's just an example though, the real thing would be from "User" to "Template". --ToonLucas22 (talk) 21:57, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

As before mentioned, modifying a page in another user's userspace is against wiki rules and could get you banned. Just copy/paste the code into the new page and add it to the list on this project's page (I'm in the process of creating said list, so wait for me to finish that.) - Exhelah ^{t - c} 22:00, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Okay, don't add it to any lists, just copy the code. I'm working on a better tracking thingermadoodle, but for now I added a subpage listing that will auto-update, so we can see which ones have been copied.
