We have begun migration of most wikis to our new host, Amazon Web Services. All but the top 100 wikis are in read-only mode until the migration is complete. Estimated completion: TBD -- Update: Fri 10/20 11pm UTC - We have encountered some unexpected issues. Our staff is working around the clock to complete this process as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Ender chests are a type of chest that can store items, although the contents of an ender chest are bound to the player opening it, not the ender chest being opened, regardless of where it is (or what dimension it's in).

Natural Generation[edit | edit source]
Ender chests naturally generate in end cities.
Usage[edit | edit source]
Ender chests can be opened by pressing use. If a solid block is placed over an ender chest, it will not be able to open.
Ender chests can be used like chests, except all ender chests in the world share the same inventory, including in separate dimensions. The ender chests' inventory is also separate for each player; consequently, items stored in an ender chest cannot be taken or seen by other players.
Ender chests contain 27 slots for storage, and can be placed next to other ender chests without joining.
Ender chests emit a light level of 7.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- An ender chest's particles exist only in the 1 block radius around the chest, so if the chest is placed next to a wall its particles will not be seen on the other side.
- Unlike chests, changes to an ender chest's name are not reflected in its inventory GUI.
