Zoglins are undead hostile mobs created when a hoglin is brought to the Overworld or End. They attack most types of mobs on sight. However, they do not attack creepers. They are fireproof and immune to lava and fire damage like most Nether mobs.
When killed, zoglins drop:
- Adult and baby[JE only] 1–3 rotten flesh, with an additional 0–1 per level of Looting.
- 5 if adult and baby killed by a player or tamed wolf.[Java Edition only]
- 1–3 if adult killed by a player or tamed wolf.[Bedrock Edition only]
Zoglins are incapable of breeding and do not flee from blocks that repel hoglins.
Unlike baby hoglins, baby zoglins attack baby piglins.
Piglins flee from zoglins if they are not engaged in combat.
Being undead mobs, they are damaged by the status effect Instant Health and healed by the status effect Instant Damage. They are unaffected by the status effects Regeneration and Poison. They are ignored by the wither and affected by Smite.
