This page describes content that may be included in a future update.
These features have appeared in development versions, but the full update containing these features has not been released yet.

Zoglins are undead hostile mobs created when a hoglin is brought to the Overworld or End. They attack most types of mobs on sight. However, they do not attack creepers. They are fireproof and immune to lava and fire damage like most Nether mobs.

Zoglins spawn when a hoglin has been in the Overworld for 300 game ticks (15 seconds), this also happens in the End.

When killed, zoglins drop:

Zoglins and baby zoglins are aggressive and attack any entity including players except for creepers and other zoglins. Zoglins are also aggressive towards armor stands.[1]

When an adult zoglin attacks, it flings the entity into the air. A player is flung even if the attack is blocked with a shield. Babies also attack but do not fling their targets.

Zoglins are incapable of breeding and do not flee from blocks that repel hoglins.

Unlike baby hoglins, baby zoglins attack baby piglins.

Piglins flee from zoglins if they are not engaged in combat.

Being undead mobs, they are damaged by the status effect Instant Health and healed by the status effect Instant Damage. They are unaffected by the status effects Regeneration and Poison. They are ignored by the wither and affected by Smite.
