A vegetation patch is a terrain feature composed of naturally generating clusters of plants or fungi such as grass, ferns and flowers which are the primary natural source of these blocks.

Vegetation patches can be composed of grass, ferns, flowers, sugar canes, sweet berry bushes, pumpkins, mushrooms, bamboo and melons. Underwater, they can consist of seagrass. In oceans, kelp, in deserts, dead bushes and cacti, and in the Nether, fire.
