I apologize for reverting your edit to Element. I saw the thumbnail, but it wasn't big enough for me to see that it was made of the Minecraft images, and I didn't click through to see the image itself. I only learned of the existence of the left-step table a few days ago. I think in my mind, the image of it I saw then was the only picture of it that exists, and I presume your picture was intentionally made to look as much like it as possible. Of course, that means at thumbnail size (and with my failing eyesight) it's easy to mistake it for the original. 0.28 Screenshot

Why do you think the Luigi2600's fake client screenshot is better than mine? That iron block texture didn't even exist and the gold block texture was already replaced with newer one. It's not fake, Lassebq has been told about this (and should know this). Luigi2600 didn't even have a 0.28 up for download. It's a screenshot taken in 2009 of the real client, albeit with a texture pack enabled. Sure, screenshots with texture packs are generally not allowed here but this should be an exception as it's the only real screenshot of the version that can be found. What do you mean "custom texture pack?". Your only can use official Minecraft texture for pages, etc. unless you're showcasing a mod/texture pack. Btw why are you typing 0.28 snapshot? OK. Here's the direct proof that this is modified client and not just textures. YOU COULDN'T CHANGE WINDOW AND GUI RESOLUTIONS BACK THAN. You could actually but it would not affect the playable area it would still be 854x480px.

EDIT: And I gave up trying to upload the image that would look identical to the one with the original client.

And your point is? It's still the real 0.28, just modified. It's the only existing screenshot of any form of 0.28, so there is an exception for that. If there were no real screenshots, we would simply not put any screenshot on the page at all. We do not appreciate your photoshopped and fake screenshots - please do not continue to do this. Block Overview Image

Hi! I saw your concerns about the block overview image. As for organization- I made way too many arbitrary decisions when putting the new image together for 1.14 and basically stayed in that spirit. Honey blocks do have an obvious association with slime blocks, but if I were to move the honey block next to the slime block, the rest of the 1.15 blocks might have to go with it given their association (well, the slime block could move, but then that column has to be changed... and Beehives/Bee Nests both could be associated with the utility blocks, or Beehives with nature-type blocks... and all of these placements would require reshuffling of plenty else... basically, rational organization is hard so I chose laziness instead. As for the blocks currently rendered in 2D- I know it's wiki policy now for the individual renders to make them 3D, but I view that as a bit odd. The thing is that those sorts of blocks are rotated 45 degrees relative to the rest. In game, their profile is an "X", not a "+". If they were to be rendered in the standard perspective, only one face would be visible, the other being perpendicular to the view plane, but the whole thing would look weird and "squashed". My point is wiki perspective and flat are both arbitrary, but flat is closer to standard perspective. Redstone wire, rails, ladders, etc. are exceptions to this reasoning and could be changed to standard perspective (but might not look as clear). Bedrock Edition blocks are a good idea and almost certainly should be added at some point, though I will admit I'm a bit of a Java snob. I have no clue why it's called Template1. It's been like that since the original uploader put the first version up and I guess nobody's bothered to look into it Wilfred maplewood (talk) 02:29, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

MineCon Piglin image

I have consulted User:FVbico and that is the correct way to use the sound table. Your edits introduced cite errors to that page and many others. I'm not invested in keeping the heading quotes, so don't get the wrong idea about that. Buf if you're deleting information that isn't obviously objectionable and conforms to the guidelines, you owe it to other editors to provide an edit summary that explains why. In this case, it should have given a link to the decision that authorized deleting these quotes, assuming there is one (I certainly haven't heard anything about it). Migration of Traincarts wiki to FTB

Recently it was decided to move the Traincarts wiki pages to the FTB Wiki. However, considering Traincarts is not truly a forge mod but a Bukkit one, it is not a good fit. After many wiki migrations it looks like the traincarts page is stuck in limbo. We've decided together with the community to move the wiki to our own domain. It can be found here: https://wiki.traincarts.net/ I don't have an FTB wiki account to talk to any admins there, and I have no idea what process was started, but can you make sure no further migrations occur? We've decided that self-hosting the pages is the better way forward. Without warning the wiki, used by lots of people all the time, was unavailable for days. it caused quite a lot of problems on our support discord. Can I take from this that without extra action, no import onto ftb will occur? Or do I need to talk with Xbony2 to officially cancel it? You must have PERMISSION, you can't just create a whole new wiki just for that, ftb can host it, un-import them, ftb wiki can easily host it, you just ruined it! Why create a wiki for no reason? Again, we like to stay in control of things, and after the wiki migrated 3 times out of control breaking existing links, we want nothing more of that nonsense. If permission is an issue, even considering I'm the plugin author and developer, I don't mind rewriting the wiki from scratch. Or just eliminate all user contributions that are not my own. If this migration policy didn't completely blank out the pages during the transition period I may have felt differently. I don't know if the ftb wiki is fine, or that in 2 years the entire wiki migrates to a different url again. Please understand this whole situation from the community's point of view. You 100% need permission from an ftb admin/wiki guaridian and how does migrations break links? It breaks accounte but NOT links. The wiki (except for like 5 yrs ago) has never changed url and it seems like this wiki was hastily made (and it just haaapppened to be made 2day, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) also, the wiki was NEVER unavailable for days (at least in the past year), yes, perhaps in a read only state but not inaccessible. ---Humiebee ^{Discuss anything with me Look at my edits} 21:53, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

Would you like to discuss this further on our Traincarts discord? Link is on the Spigot page. The first migration was from the bukkit wiki to the minecraft wiki under Bukkit/Server_mods. This was then migrated to /Mods/ breaking existing links on our spigot/discord. And now the migration to ftb, which had all of our users asking about what happened to the wiki, to which we could only answer to use the history version. Precisely. It broke links on the main Spigot page, which is meant to document the plugin, and on our FAQ section on our official discord server. According to the license agreement of this site there is no problem in copying the content, so long we provide attribution, which we will do. If no agreement can be made to remove the Traincarts wiki from gamepedia/ftb, then a clone can exist on ftb, but we will not provide further contributions to it.

Let me give you my reasons:

1. For 8 days nobody could access the wiki cleanly. We were done waiting.
2. This all happened unannounced, giving our support staff a hard time
3. Nobody even knew how to import to ftb, or if it was already ongoing
4. This is not the first time this had happened, tho not as extreme
5. Personally, I did not see FTB to be a good fit for the plugin, so I didn't even know IF it was going to be imported
6. We have long had plans to set up our own wiki on traincarts.net, this even cemented that plan. Yes, we started today.

Humiebee, tone it down a bit, no need for the aggression. It doesn't matter where the exported pages are going, just that they're being moved off this wiki, as as such it's fine to move then to an official location. The TrainCarts pages in this wiki can be changed to soft redirect to this official wiki. Mods don't need to be exported to FTB, it's just the most useful location; when an official wiki is made for the mod, then that is now the best place for it. And yes, the export to FTB can be cancelled if you want, I'll remove the export file from the importing process. Have you already exported all applicable pages from this wiki? Because they chose to no longer be dependent on choices made by other people not directly involved. Do note, that the migration to FTB discussion was on the community portal, and not any mod page. Thus people only interested in the mod weren't notified. FVbico (talk) 23:42, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

It would be, if the move didn't take over a week to actually happen, and didn't require manual intervention to happen at all, and didn't leave readers stranded. At this point all I personally care about is that the wiki moves to a domain we control, and I want to do so legally. FTB wiki is a fine site, and I have read it plenty to learn about various mods, but I don't wish the traincarts wiki to be there for the simple fact that anybody can decide to move the page, migrate it between site, or even delete it for becoming 'off topic' in the future. A reminder that this traincarts wiki here was 'on topic' for years, until it wasn't. And yes, I believe all pages from this wiki have been imported, I'll set up some soft redirects tomorrow. Copper GIF Deletion
