Apple Proposal[]

It is improper conduct to close a proposal which you created. --74.105.180.194 20:44, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

  • The minecraft wiki have been using the term "oak trees", so please do not change oak trees to apple trees. Anoymous712 13:39, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
  • A) I did not create an account to reprimand you. I did not create an account at all. If any registered user has yelled at you, that was someone else.
    B) I just wanted to point out that the lead admin has commented on your proposal, confirming what I've been trying to tell you all along: votes are not how decisions are made around here.
    C) If you wanted to be taken seriously, why would you ever include "troll" in your name? I mean, seriously... up your game ;) Happy editing! --74.102.128.244 07:08, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Voting[]

In the case of Ocelots which you so eagerly point to, the discussion went on for nearly two months, thirty-five people participated, and a consensus was only declared when the proposal had more than two-to-one support. If the apple-vs-oak debate reaches a similar depth, with people participating of their own will, not because you ask them to vote for you, and also has an overwhelming consensus, it might be decided the same way. In a community of this size, a 4-3 vote means nothing. -- Orthotope 07:28, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Oak or Apple[]

I think oak trees are officially considered oak trees now. The new snapshot 12w17a which added the new wooden slabs refer them as Oak-Wood slabs, Birch-Wood slabs, Spruce-Wood slabs, and Jungle-wood slabs. I think we can stop arguing about the names already. --Anoymous712 12:04, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Duplicating infobox values[]

If you look at the other values on the infobox (type/physics/stackable/etc.) you'll see that there aren't any duplicate values for them. That's because they are identical for all items under that infobox. There's no reason to have renewable any different from the rest, because wooden/iron doors are both renewable, same as they are both not stackable (which doesn't have a dupe value for each).

The only thing not displayed correctly right now is the tools. They don't show which item they are referring to (although in this case, it's pretty obvious the pickaxe is for the iron door, and the axe is for the wooden one). I'll get around to fixing that eventually. –ultradude25 (T|C) at 10:08, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Cocoa Beans edit[]

In this revision it looks like you reverted to an older revision of the Cocoa Beans page while editing it. Was that deliberate? Did you intend to make a different edit? I'd be happy to help fix up the lost content but I don't have time right this minute and as well, I'd like to get information first. —kpreid 22:40, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Wiki etiquette[]

Hi TrollGlaDOS. It's generally considered vandalism to edit other users' "User:" pages, as you did here. If you want to leave a message for a user, you should use their "User talk:" page, which for KPReid is User talk:KPReid. If you think something on a user's page should be changed, you should ask the user to change it themselves (except in the case of obvious spam or reverting vandalism). Have a nice day now :) --timrem 07:28, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
