Are you refering to MCD:Weapons, MCD:Armor, MCD:Enchanting? If so, they may not be ascetically pleasing but they are more informative - those pages were just plain lists before, completely unhelpful with no :attempt at providing information or detail. MCD:Items still uses the old list style as it is meant to be an overarching summary page rather than a details one.

I have thoughts on different styles on presenting these details pages but their implementation I can imagine to be difficult and, at this current moment, non vital.

My current priorities are to clean up the information on this wiki and scrape away the misinterpretations, misinformation and poor presentation.

If you possess other styles that are equal or superior to the current table forms with respect to information quantity and presentation, please present them.

Hi, you've been moving too many files from MC Dungeons and overall you've not been leaving redirects there, so please stop moving files, would break and mess up the Wiki. Chungui23 (talk) 20:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

I am aware of the disruption the moving of files is causing and this is partially intentional.

In the wiki discord, me and several others agreed to set up a systematic and fixed naming scheme for equipment images to allow others and automated processes to predict the names when searching for images.. something that benefits all members of the wiki in the long term, especially with the upcoming nether and free update bringing the inferno to the dungeons.

The disruption, while having a short term negative, is one way to notify and inform that the way dungeons images are being named is changing. I will be helping to fix these in due time of course, not going to leave everyone else to do it as that isn’t exactly polite in my view.

Ideally, a bot would change all instances of the image to have their link altered upon the file name change but alias I do not have access to such a thing.

Perhaps I should have made better awareness of the upcoming changes in other locations such as the community portal, I have been made aware on using such a place and I will do so in the future.

Currently investigating the way to set up a style guide specific to the dungeons wiki and perhaps that might bring some clarity in due time.

I will not be ceasing the name changes and I politely request for you not to revert or alter these file names as a great deal of thought and agreement has been baked into them.

There was no need to bring that up and to repeat what was said; it sounds overly asservative to address them like that. Discussing it only on Discord is our fault, and we should have brought it up to the community portal before making a huge change for all files.
