This section was so long that I decided to give it its own page. It's 100,000 bytes!

I have one thing I want to tell you and a question.

  1. The only servers I ever played on are Project Ares and MinecraftSMP. What was your username on the server?
  2. On Version history/Development versions, it says this: "Starting in the period between Beta 1.7.3 and Beta 1.8, Mojang began to publicly release weekly versions of full updates in order to get full feedback for the full update." (I made it a bit shorter here) Anyway, the snapshots are publicly available, so anyone can use them. Go to the page I said earlier, and download the client file for the snapshot you want (preferably 13w17a at the time of this post). The new system is a lot easier than the old one, so all you have to do now is download the launcher, and select the version you want. Wait for it to download, the Minecraft window will open, and you can start playing! :D -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:40, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Currently, it lets you choose even the 1.5.1/1.5.2 version, but they don't have Horses, they are just bug fix updates. When a new update comes out, the box that lets you select your version will say "Update available" underneath the box. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:44, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Wow. Nice picture. 70.181.68.226 01:29, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
70.181.68.226, screenshots are taken with the F2 button. And that's what horses look like. Cool pic! :D -- Numbermaniac - T - C 05:31, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks Numbermaniac! --70.181.68.226 03:15, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

It's true that there aren't as many new things, but horses and hardened clay and carpets are good enough for me! --70.181.68.226 16:26, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
Yeah. Carpets are cool. I wonder if you can place stuff on carpets... --70.181.68.226 01:35, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

That's alright. Do you know how to upload things here? (Actually, I don't think IPs can upload images). -- Numbermaniac - T - C 06:47, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Not really... I only started using the wiki less than a month ago. --70.181.68.226 06:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Click upload file in the Toolbox on the left, but I don't think unregistered users can upload pictures. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 06:55, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
You're right... and it doesn't even have an upload thingy on the toolbox thingy! --70.181.68.226 07:03, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
It says that I have to get an account to upload images... oh well! --70.181.68.226 02:44, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Otherwise vandals could just upload so many images to the wiki. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:28, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

One, then why not download it on your computer? Or use something like Dropbox to download it on the iPad and get it on the computer!
Nice idea, why not make an account? :D -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:22, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry, I'm only 12 myself. No, really. CMD is Command Prompt. I've been making a few batch files (they run in CMD), but I'm yet to figure everything out. The only reason I created those is because Task Manager and CMD are blocked at school, so I can use it with batch files. :D! -- Numbermaniac - T - C 06:59, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

  1. Learn your maths, 412.5 is just 825 divided by two. The square root is 28.7228132327...
  2. I live in Australia, not Europe.
  3. 10, 11, 12!
  4. Yes, it is because it is related to games. Hence StrategyWiki being blocked too. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 09:09, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Server stuff[edit]

Hey Numbermaniac, on the MinecraftSMP server, do you mind if I make a shop in the same building as yours? --70.181.68.226 02:18, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

You can't place blocks in a plot that belongs to someone else. So I can only place blocks in the wild and my plot. Same for everyone else, except probably admins and the people who own the entire estate. Otherwise, ordinary users can only place blocks in plots belonging to them and in the wild. Sorry. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 02:46, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Man. But, luckily, I made a shop! All I need is someone to make the public warp for me... --70.181.68.226 02:59, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Congratulations! Remember the special format for making shops. Also, ANYONE can make warps! All you have to type is...
/warp create WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT

You can then access it by type /w THE NAME. You may also want to set it to your home. Stand where you want your home to be, then type /sethome. Then you can access it by typing /home. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 04:42, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Sorry to burst your happy little bubble there, BUT...
It said that I have reached the maximum of public warps I was allowed to create. Guess how many that was? ZERO. --70.181.68.226 04:55, 25 May 2013 (UTC) (ps-My tone isn't as sarcastic as it seems)
WHAT?! I honestly do not understand that. You're in the oldworld right? If so... weird. I don't get it. Maybe ask in the helpme channel? -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 05:05, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
I don't get it either. I'll try again and ask. --70.181.68.226 05:09, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Also, the warp will be /w SheepShop! (Without the exclamation point) --70.181.68.226 05:10, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

┌──────────────────────────┘
In the wild, literally RIGHT NEXT TO another shop. (/w heroman). Sadly, the doors don't work, you have to get him to open them for you. You go around, turn o the left, and follow the stairs with the sign that says, "To SheepShop!" --70.181.68.226 06:19, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

It's a cobblestone building with no roof. Can you help me expand it? --70.181.68.226 06:31, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
I can't play until 1.6 comes, remember? Yeah, another thing is that doors can only be opened by the person who placed them. That's why my shop doesn't have doors, and most shops don't. I'm not sure how he would like your shop being attached to his. Be wary that he could destroy your shop and/or kill you at any time. If you don't mind waiting until 1.6, I could put it on top of mine, but then you can't modify it. I'd suggest having your shop separate, no doors. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:35, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
It's not attached; it's actually a fair distance away. And for now, he's left me alone. I can destroy the door, though. --70.181.68.226 06:37, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Oh yeah. And how do you get a plot? --70.181.68.226 06:38, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Is the door there for his plot or your plot?
To get a plot, you can either find one that is for sale, contact the owner and buy it, or you might be able to find an empty one. If you do, I'll give further instructions. Oh, and either way, you'll need an Iron Ore. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:40, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
  1. What are you talking about?
  2. I'll find an empty one. And I can buy an iron ore. Can you please tell me how? --70.181.68.226 06:44, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
I think my talk page is bigger than yours, just check under my table of contents. Some empty plots don't let you place an iron ore, even though it seems unoccupied. If you lose your iron ore trying to place one, quickly disconnect and reconnect. You'll get it back.

┌──────────────────────────┘
Firstly, type /ps on. Then place the iron ore on top of the orangey coloured block in the center. Then turn /ps off, and you should get a message saying "Entering sheepuff20's Beginner Plot". (Depending on the size, it may not always say beginner. Mine does.) Keep the Iron Ore there, don't remove it. (Mine still has it, and so should yours.) If you're looking for a plot in the land where mine is, you could ask Dinnerbone (not the real one) whether there are any plots there for usage. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:49, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Ohh, that's what I was doing wrong. And Dinnerbone, the nonreal one, was on, and I'm all, what?! Dinnerbone plays on THIS SERVER?! and he's ON?! --70.181.68.226 06:55, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

I have yours, 70.181.68.226's, Kanegasi's and Ultradude25's talk pages on my watchlist. –- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 12:21, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Why are there so many parts? --70.181.68.226 14:29, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
My preferences wouldn't accept it for being so long. So it just substs fron User:Numbermaniac/sig/current.
The special parts are what makes my user page link overlay the talk and contribs. It basically shrinks the lines to nearly fit two small lines into one normal line. Numbermaniac
