Could the Mob images you made be lit from the front-right / front-left face, instead of from above? The current lighting casts what you're trying to see in shadow... the worst offender would be the Pig image. By the way, I created the Past Mobs images - They seem to work fine (and they'd take serious work to match the others neutral poses). JaffaCakeLover 08:43, 28 December 2010 (CST)

Would a rotating gif work?MoonBeans 15:53, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Image cache[]

I'm not sure why you uploaded the same version of the rail interaction image, but I'm assuming you were still seeing the old one. Always make sure you refresh your browser cache (ctrl+F5) before you bother to reupload. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 16:32, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

I did clear my cache, and it had been days MoonBeans 16:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Well, I saw the same one you uploaded. So I would suggest you empty your cache completely. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 19:58, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Yes, I did, completely, history and everything. Its working now, after re uploading. I know its a waste of space but this is the only way it would allow me to view it. And [offtopic] what are header tabs? You mentioned those on the hisorization project.
It's not a matter of wasted space, it's a matter of server caching issues. The more frequently an image is reuploaded, the worse it becomes, and the more images that are uploaded (in a short time span) the more it affects the overall performance of the wiki. As for the header tabs, I replied on my page with a link to an example. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 20:04, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Eh, what?[]

I'm sorry, how did I deserve that posting of yours on my talk page? -Wulfenbach (not on fire for once) 08:34, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

And conitnued posts like that will earn you a vacation from editing for a few days. Please treat other users with respect. Thanks. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 08:51, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
It was a joke making fun of the trolls who do that kind of things, sorry (you said spam away). MoonBeans 22:38, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Ah, well I'll take it as "no harm, no foul" then, thought as a note it's generally considered worse form (if not vandalism) to delete stuff off of other people's talk pages. Oddly enough, even stuff you posted originally. Best to leave the owning user to zap it; likely will get fewer people riled up. That said, don't worry about it. It's glossed over, IMO. -Wulfenbach (not on fire for once) 23:49, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Glad to help![]

And by the way, the page isn't anywhere near done yet. I'm still trying to work out the redstone schematics for the different types of telegraphs, and I have yet to add my proudest invention, the telegraph machine that lets you create, review, edit, and delete messages before sending them. So if you want more info, it's coming soon! Let me know if you want some pics or something before I post them on the site, because it should be a while before I'm done. SAMSTER5

Today is [day][]

Ha ha, nice way to prove your statement. Please add hours and minutes please! :p User:Sakishrist Please sign your posts!

Yes, I originally just edited it every day, but this works better. And why are you poking around in the source of my user page? MoonBeans (u-t-c) 13:15, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Source??? what do you mean? Let me see if it is what I think you mean ........ Oh! Now I get it. By [day] I just meant any day, not what you have in your source. I really thought you were updating it yourself. Well, at least you told me the truth! :p Sakishrist 13:19, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Oh, I thought you were peeking at the source of my userpage, and saw the {{CURRENTDAYNAME}} tag, and realized what it did. My mistake. MoonBeans (u-t-c) 13:53, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
See, I would have assumed that he (aren't all wiki editors male by default, thoughts to ponder...) was perusing your userpage source for the same reason anyone does: to blatantly steal for learn new and exciting ways to improve one's own userspace. At the page load, the day will be Friday. Oh, and in passing, hello and all that. -Wulfenbach (not on fire for once) 00:17, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Cow Article[]

Hi there. I recently added a note to the trivia section of the 'Cow' article, and you moved it to the appearance section. I'm new to the wiki, and I believed it most suited in trivia. I hope you do not assume to blame the entire section-at-fault on me, as your OTT edit summary and removal suggested. I might lightly recommend you use more etiquette when dealing with fellow editors, but that might come off as harsh. I'm posting here to acknowledge your move and to explain my reasoning behind my original placement in case you received the wrong "message". Legoless 23:01, 24 April 2011 (UTC)

Yes, and I apologize for this. I really have nothing to say for myself, and I hope that you understand, I have had to fix that same mistake many times. Going to leave a comment about it now. MoonBeans (u-t-c) 13:20, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Time[]

Why would you want to combine all those articles into one? Isn't the point of a wiki to separate information into logical chunks? Your idea would be just the opposite, a mish-mash. --JonTheMon 03:41, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

Well, its kinda a balance of both. If you had a page for each aspect of a block, the wiki would be difficult, just as if you had one page with all of the blocks on it. I think that the Day/night article should be merged, but before you make any assumptions, read the finished page (it might be better than you think). MoonBeans (u-t-c) 22:49, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
