Hello, Saanoth here. I have a question regarding the images you recently uploaded. What program/technique did you use to cut the edges of the image so neatly? I am asking this because the we need a better image for the Chicken Jockey article. Thanks! ----Saanoth (talk|contribs) 23:47, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- I actually made the image with paint.net, which is like paint only with the alpha channel. I pretty much made a cube with different colors for each "pixel", combined it into the model shape, then colored each pixel. The only problem is I must have only straight edge. I'll try the chicken jockey, thoughhis legs would be slightly straighter. KnightMiner (talk|contribs) 00:23, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- Probably not, they have slight angles in their arms and such. They were made using blender I think. KnightMiner (talk|contribs) 01:03, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi! I'd like to ask you for some simple help, and since you're and experienced Minecraft Wiki:er it won't be hard I think! :)
Currently I'm looking over my talk page, and I would like to add a kind of archive. Is there any way you can insert a box of sorts, that per default is hidden, and when you press show, you get to see old threads? I think I've seen it on the wiki before!
Thanks a bunch! :) ----Saanoth (talk|contribs) 20:11, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- Well, make a new page in you userspace. You could try using the Template:Archive box or a wikitable for the archive box. Load it using {{:PAGENAME}} at the beginning of your talk page. If you want Template:Archive box to collapse then load it using Template:LoadPage. KnightMiner (talk|contribs) 22:15, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

I never said "every image had to be uploaded by me"! I'm only trying to help. And can you please tell JohnHOne to stop ruining the tree page?

- My main point is several images from the Biome History page you uploaded new versions of, even though the original was fine already. --KnightMiner (talk|contribs) 21:59, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Fish pages
Hi KnightMiner, if you don't mind me asking, could you please tell me your reasoning behind separating the fish pages? Thanks. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- Two reasons.
- One: to keep articles to the same standards. Steak and Raw Beef, Raw and Cooked Pork, and Different types of potatoes had separate articles.
- Two: the fish article was really long. A one time wiki reader trying to find what a puffer fish does would have a lot of scrolling.
- This may still not be the best solution. But it is a bit easier to find information.

Displaytitle
This only lets you change the capitalization of a page title, not the actual text; see the documentation at mediawikiwiki:Help:Magic words#Technical metadata. To hide the User: prefix, you could use a span that sets the text color to be identical to the page background (#e6eff4). Like this. -- Orthotopetalk 03:34, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, I figured that out shortly, so my second attempt was to rearrange it using div (I don't think it supports div either). I also found erasing the user: prefix using font size 0 looked a little better (except that weird gap at the bottom). Also, the article mentions an option to allow more than capitalization, and I don't know where to check to see if that is enabled. --KnightMiner 04:04, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
Template in signature
You have a template in your signature which should be removed. Use |
to escape the pipe or use a different character. –Matt ᐸ Talk

Forget about the "User:" prefix to a user's page -_-
I'm sorry for that. I just forget that. Next time i'm gonna put 'User:' before the name of the page i create XxAlekthenDxX (talk) 04:58, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. And if you do happen to forget again, you can also move it yourself. Just click the arrow on the right next to history, press move, switch the to new title to "User", and uncheck "leave a redirect behind" --KnightMiner 13:43, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
