Witch hut article rough draft[]

I noticed that on your to-do list, you had to make a witch hut article on one's user page and possibly to propose to have it as a future article. I have made a rough draft of the article as a user page (see User:Madminecrafter12/Witch hut). However, every time I save an edit on this computer when a new history template has been a part of that edit, it says that an error has occurred, and it saves every part of the edit except for the history template. Thus, if this problem is just my specific computer, another user for whom this does not happen will have to make it a template. I do have the basic outline of the history, so all a user would have to do is add curly brackets ({) on each side of every line in that section. --Madminecrafter12 (talk) 15:11, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

You were probably just missing the {{history|foot}}. For future reference, you could have used <pre> tags, slightly quicker than removing the brackets. KnightMiner 20:46, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

minecraft wii u edition[]

how do you spawn herobrine on minecraft wii u edition?67.221.138.139 22:04, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Herobrine does not exist, and any rumors you've heard that he does are false. So there's no way to spawn him.-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed TerracottaTalk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta 22:05, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Mobs page[]

Hello there, i want to suggest few changes about Mob page and i at least wanted to ask you. I have 2 problems with it:

PS: Sorry for english

1) In the neutral section, it is divided into Animals and Monsters. That is useless and bad since we have Classification bellow the list and other sections dont have this, for example Passive mobs dont have Villagers, a humanoid separated from animals, or Hostile mobs where silverfish, an animal separated from monsters. I suggest we remove these ,,animals and monsters", they are neutral and that is what matters.

2) In the list, there are mobs from Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons like Mob of Me, Arch Illager etc. These shouldnt be there because this wiki and especially that page is for Minecraft and these mobs are not in minecraft and it can easily confuse new players searching for mobs. Their games are not minecraft, they are separated games sharing very much but theyre different. Also these mobs are then absent from any other section in the page. I dont say we need to remove them from the wiki entirely, but i think it should ve proper to move them either to the pages of their game or make new page.

Also in that (oh god) "openable section" called Entities way down in Mobs and Entities pages. I think that falls under same category as Mob page and it should be removed from there too.

Thank you for your time. Klusimo (talk) 06:01, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Her Klusimo, I suggest you bring these suggestions to the talk page. Changes like this are really a community decision rather than a decision for a single editor, thus better to bring it to a common talk page. KnightMiner 06:15, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
Good idea, done it, hope someone respond lmao i waited for FVbico's respond for long time and nothing (i dont mean that in rude way). If noone respond (dont worry i wont wait for like 5 mins only :D) then ill discus it either with you or i dnno. Thanks anyway, bye for now. Klusimo (talk) 08:21, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
If no one responds after awhile, I suggest taking ideas to the community portal or the discord server. I am admittedly not very active on the wiki these days, so its probably better to get opinions from more active editors. KnightMiner 22:50, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

1.13 herobrine spawn egg[]

In the 1.13 section of BE, there something in the items section that says added {{herobrine}} {{spawn egg}}. Please remove this pliz because a herobrine spawn can only be obtained in mods or addons. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Phantomx99999 (talkcontribs) at 15:33, 14 May 2020 (UTC). You can revert those changes yourself, no need to message an administrator. And as it says at the top of my talk page, see the admin noticeboard for issues that do not require me specifically but just need admin help. KnightMiner 01:39, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Update to the Did You Know edit copy[]

Hi Knight, the edit copy of the Did You Know section has been updated a while ago. Can you verify them and add them to the facts list? Thanks! Windwend (talk) 18:54, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Ask on the admin noticeboard if the question does not require my attention specifically. I do not have much time for wiki editing these days, so you are better off asking on the general noticeboard so one of the more active admins can review them. KnightMiner (t/c) 20:05, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Including a template css subpage into the template[]

Hi, thank you for doing this content model change. I had been puzzling over why it wasn't appearing properly.

Perhaps you can advise me on how this stylesheet might be included in its parent template Template:Tree list. I ported it over from Wikipedia, and it mostly works except for the Template:Tree list/branching sub-template, which requires the style sheet.

On Wikipedia this is done with <templatestyles src="Tree list/styles.css" /> but that tag isn't supported here. Any advice? Amatulic (talk) 19:19, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

Look at how we do the stylesheets for Module:Sprite instead. The key details are it requires the CSS page to be loaded from the MediaWiki namespace (CSS can be a security issue), and it is based on the Mediawiki gadget system. For the record, we already have treeview CSS, any reason your template does not just use the existing CSS? KnightMiner (t/c) 00:38, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Ruined portal[]

Apologies for swapping the page contents rather than properly moving the page. I tried to, but couldn't move over a redirect. My sleep-deprived brain didn't think to ask someone with rights and I forgot about the resulting loss of page history. zombiewizard45 (talk) 06:39, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
