Sorry[edit]

I am sorry I put false information on the Rabbit page. I didn't realize this was true For Mobs like Wolves and horses. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 96.236.223.233 (talk) at 0:31, 25 May 2015 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

No worries, we all make mistakes! ;) --Illidicia (t+c) 02:13, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Userboxes[edit]

Your userboxes say that you play hard, but the Pocket edition and Peaceful userboxes contradict this. 71.212.10.80 15:17, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

I prefer Pocket Edition, though I also play the PC/Mac Edition of the game. And can I not like using both settings? --Illidicia (t+c) 19:34, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

2.0 page[edit]

The reasoning behind my edit is that Minecraft 2.0 would most likely be the next update after 1.9 Combat Update. the only major possibility of it not happening would be if Minecraft were to be discontinued, could you please explain your reasoning for blanking?--69.223.191.118 23:17, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

The '.' in software version numbers are not decimals. 2.0 would be technically a sequel, with Mojang following a 'release.major.patch' sequence. So, for example, 1.7.10 is tenth patch of the seventh major update of the first release. - Illidicia (t+c) 23:26, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Also, as per MCW:NOTABILITY, articles about unreleased versions are only allowed if there are significant sources. Anything else is speculation, which is against the rules. KnightMiner t/c 01:52, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Hotbar for Pocket Edition[edit]

Your edit summary says that the image isn't the Pocket Edition hotbar. What do you mean? The BlobsPaper.png 21:10, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Included in the Pocket Edition hotbar is a 'slot' with an ellipsis icon, which allows the player to open their inventory. Illidicia (t+c) 22:03, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
The inventory button isn't part of the hotter because it cannot be selected; tapping it will open the player's inventory. The BlobsPaper.png 21:26, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
The action to open the inventory has priority of the ability to select the slot. In addition, the black lining surrounding the hotbar extends to encompass this area. Illidicia (t+c) 21:40, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
In that case, what needs to be done is to reupload the image. The BlobsPaper.png 21:16, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Minecraft Wiki/editcopy[edit]

You reverted my edit changing the image from a monitor with a Minecraft logo on it to the actual operating systems saying that "The game is not different in any respect across all operating systems, and isn't released seperately. If this documented the launcher it could be potentially useful, but otherwise I can't see any point."

I am aware that the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions are the same and the updates are not released separately (Which is simaler to Pocket and Console Editions), however the reason for my edit is that all the other versions have the logo of the operating system with the version of the edition, so I am merely making it consistent. Wolffillms (talk) 01:32, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

The reason other versions use the logo per edition is because each edition is released separately, and as such have different version numbers. The computer edition is just one edition with one version number, so really only one icon is needed (and having just one prevents the implication of separate development). And in my opinion, having just the one icon for computer looks better. KnightMiner t/c 02:42, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
Well that does sometimes happen, for the most part all Console Edition platforms updates are released at the same time and all Pocket Edition platforms updates are released at the same time. Also it is a known fact that Windows, Mac, and Linux are updated together, so I doubt that it will cause confusion. Lastly having the different operating system logos is still consistent with the rest of the Editions. Wolffillms (talk) 12:54, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
