Surviving is the point of Minecraft. You probably need to survive. Follow the steps below and do them carefully. If you die, tough luck.
Steps
Step 1: Get some wood,50-60 is good.
Step 2: Craft tools. First make sure you craft a pickaxe, sword, and axe.
Step 3: Make a shelter with your wood. (or craft it into wooden planks for 4x the material.)
Step 4: Go hunting. Find soome groups of pigs, chickens, or cows, then kill them.
Step 5: Make a hoe and a shovel.
Step 6: Mine. Collect 8 cobblestone (obtained my mining stone), iron, and coal ore.
Step 7: Make a furnace and smelt your iron ore with your coal.
Step 8: OPTIONAL!!!!!!! Expand your house, if you think it is good enough, you can ignore this.
Step 9: Craft shears (two iron ingots) and shear sheep to make a bed (three wood planks and wool).
Step 10: If it's night, fight the mobs of the night.
Step 11: Sleep.
Step 12: Make an iron pickaxe and go mining again.
Step 13: Try to find diamonds, gold, or redstone. (I would recommend chunk mining.)
Step 14: Once you've found at least one of diamonds, gold, and redstone, come up.
Step 15: Make diamond tools and armor.
Step 16: Go find at least 10 obsidian and mine it.
Step 17: Make a Nether portal and activate it.
Step 18: Go into the Nether and kill the mobs.
Step 19: Kill blazes and collect the blaze rods.
Step 20: Kill several endermen and make several eye of ender (blaze powder and ender pearl).
Step 21: Left click while holding the eye of enders and follow where the lead you.
Step 22: They will start going into the ground, believe me and dig straight down.
Step 23: You will fall into a stone brick room with a silverfish spawner beside you.
Step 24: You will find a strange frame with lava under it. Place the eye of enders in the frame. (Right click the frame holding the eye of enders)
Step 25: Jump into the middle of the frame ONLY IF there is black movement there. Don't go lava suicide.
Step 26: Defeat the ender dragon. Don't go near the endermen there! You should put it on peaceful mode.
Step 27: When you kill the ender dragon, return in the portal made of bedrock.
Step 28: Go back to the Nether and collect soul sand and kill wither skeletons.
Step 29: When you have 4 soul sand and 3 wither skeleton skulls, go back to the overworld.
Step 30: Build the wither and fight it.
Step 31: You will get a nether star when you kill it. With that make a beacon with 1 nether star, 3 obsidian, and 5 glass..
Step 32: Live your great survival life!
