Template:Verify

From Minecraft Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search
[view | edit | history | purge]Documentation

This template is intended for use when the accuracy of a statement in an article is in doubt or is being questioned by an editor. It is an open request for confirmation or refutation, and/or more research, and any appropriate editing to bring the statement toward a more acceptable phrasing.

Usage[edit]

This template can simply be added after the statement to verify

The parameter {{{1}}} can be set to add a title to display, such as to describe what needs verification. If unset, it will display the name of the talk page.

The parameters {{{java}}}, {{{bedrock}}} and {{{console}}} can be set to indicate one or two specific editions.

Clicking on the link directs to the talk page of the page that the template was added to, where any discussion of the question should be raised and conducted. If there is no current talk page, the link will be red.

Articles including the template also adds the page to Category:Verify.

Examples[edit]

Example.{{verify}} → Example.[verify]

Example.{{verify|When did this change?}} → Example.[verify]

Example.{{verify|When did this change?|bedrock=1|console=1}} → Example.[verify for Bedrock and Legacy Console editions]
