Template:Outdated edition

This template inserts a note saying that the following edition has been discontinued It should not be used for content that needs to be updated for the latest version; {{needs update}} should be used in such cases.

Pages using this template are added to Category:Discontinued.

Parameters

All parameters are optional.

Parameter Purpose
{{{1}}} Replaces the default message. Use this when a more specific message is needed.
bedrock=1 For discontinued Legacy Console editions that have been replaced with Bedrock Edition.
game=1 Says "game" instead of "edition".
section=1 Changes the heading to apply to the section. By default, it applies to the page.
nocat=1 Prevents adding the page to Category:Outdated. This should normally only be used in examples.
