This template is for use on pages with old or outdated information (for example, after an update) and there has been no rewrite yet based on those changes. Use the template on pages exclusively with outdated information, not on pages with cluttered information or that lack information in general.

Usage[]

  • The |1= parameter adds an additional reason note to the template.
  • The |section= parameter changes the template to a section mode.
  • The |inaccurate= parameter changes the message displayed and sets the article into the Category:Obsolete information instead of the Category:Needs updating.
  • The |nocat= parameter prevents the template to add the article into a category.
  • The |tag= parameter changes the template to an inline tag using Template:Tag.

    • {{splitting}} for indicate that the splitting process has begun. It is recomended to use it on large splitting processes.
  • {{merge}} for suggesting to merge a page with another.
    • {{merging}} for indicate that the merging process has begun. It is recommended to use it on large merging processes.
