This template is used for linking to the minecraft.net or external pages, especially in refs.

Usage[edit]

{{article|(ext=)URL name|text to display|date|author}}

Minecraft.net article[edit]

If {{{2}}} (text to display) is not specified, the template will display the URL as the link text. {{{3}}} (date) and {{{4}}} (author) are optional.

Example
{{article|world-color-released|World of Color is released!|June 7, 2017|Jens Bergensten}}
Produces
"World of Color is released!" by Jens Bergensten. Minecraft.net, June 7, 2017

External URL[edit]

This usage is deprecated, please use {{link}} instead.

If the {{{ext}}} parameter is set, the template will produce a link to an external URL. The link must have all its URL except for the http://www..
