Talk:Tutorials/Your first 10 minutes

From Minecraft Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

This tutorial was contested when it was first created, but I agree with Kizzycocoa's decision to keep it. I propose a msgbox as follows: {{msgbox|title=This is a simple starting tutorial|text=For more in-depth info, see the [[Tutorials/Beginner's guide|Beginner's guide]]}}. This will identify this tutorial as a condensed start rather than the comprehensive coverage of the Beginner's guide. A similar msgbox could be placed on that guide informing people of the complexity option. Kanegasi C 20:10, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Is this just me or did my recent video that I had posted here got deleted by someone? odd.... Cool2647 (talk) 10:40, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

Strange.. whenever I edit and go back to main page i don't see it. Booklover5 (talk) 18:38, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

You mean your edits? Never happened to me so far. Maybe try this: if your browser supports "Private mode" or "Safe mode" open one of those windows, then open the wiki page you worked on after saving your changes. This is how I triple check my edits right now. - ShelLuser (talk) 07:29, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Mention of recipe book?[edit]

This is just food for thought for now: because this is a simple tutorial I believe it should also at least mention the recipe book because it can make things a lot easier on new players. - ShelLuser (talk) 07:29, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Not a bad idea. If you have a good idea how to phrase it, add it! Sharfpang (talk) 09:28, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

Merge with Tutorials/Beginner's_guide[edit]

This tutorial is very similar to Tutorials/Beginner's_guide and could be merged with it.
