while experimenting with this block, I found a bug: hardened clay does not resist creeper explosions. Coal JE4 BE3.png CS Sponge JE3 BE3.png 20:34, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but if you feel you have found a bug, I would encourage you to put it on the Tracker. Cultist O 21:08, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
It partially resists explosions. It's more resistant than normal clay, but not completely resistant. hotdogPi-t--c--Try my quiz! Do not click! 19:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Blast resistance[edit]

In the article, it is said that the hardened clay has an "above average" blast resistance. Why the value is 30 as for stone/cobblestone ? 09:42, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

30 is above average. Lots of blocks have below 30, and only a few blocks have above 30. hotdogPi-t--c--Try my quiz! Do not click! 19:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Natural versus crafted[edit]

Can someone add to the article which of the clays are found in nature, and which need to be stained by hand? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) 20:01, 18 January 2014(UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Merge with Stained clay[edit]

The result of the discussion was merge Stained Clay with Hardened Clay.

Let's merge hardened clay with stained clay. Boorider7 (talk) 14:33, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

Changed name[edit]

So, they changed the name of the stained clay blocks. We may need to change Module:BlockSprite, Module:InvSprite and Module:Inventory slot/Aliases so they say "Black Hardened Clay" and so on. Any others? – Sealbudsman talk/contr 16:22, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Any substance of redirects like Black Terracotta, Black Stained Clay, and Black Hardened Clay. They also need to be changed, either the file name or the main page. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 05:32, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

OMG JUST STOP MOVING IT ITS BREAKING EVERYTHING Cam275ytNixinovaBook and Quill JE2 BE2.png Diamond Pickaxe JE3 BE3.png Map (item) JE2 BE2.png • 20:14, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

Yup. I may not be the brightest bulb in the box. I will just keep it as it is, because trying to rename it "Terracotta" is just way too much work.... Cam275yt (talk) 20:18, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Cam275yt
Wait until 1.12 is out, and then move it to (Main) Terracotta, and don't move it multiple times. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Nixinova (talkcontribs) at 20:20, 04 June 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
The page has been renamed, though I haven't done any accompanying updates. Given the number of redirects to the old title, a bot run to update them would be better than doing so manually. If there are other changes that require an admin, list them here and they'll be taken care of. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 13:31, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

How does this table of naturally generating sources look?[edit]

How does this table of naturally generating sources of terra-cotta look? We could use something like this for wool too :) Flowers already has something pretty good. JavaRogers (talk) 06:00, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

GIF error[edit]

Under the Obtaining category, the recipe & result in the GIF doesn’t match the actual recipe & result. ~~ Sweepingjeans (talk) 20:34, 18 October 2019 (UTC)

Crafting not Obtaining. ~~ Sweepingjeans (talk) 20:35, 18 October 2019 (UTC)

Fixed, thanks. MajrTalk

Renewability Inaccuracies[edit]

Due to the fact that apparently from within the page itself, you can buy it off of villagers on bedrock, should the renewability thingy within the block description be changed to yes for both editions? Yep,AnotherSlimyPython (talk) 11:48, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Wait no thats coloured. Is someone able to verify for both editions for Uncoloured Stained Clay's Renewability because im not able to see how its renewable on java edition or im just blind Yep,AnotherSlimyPython (talk) 11:52, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Mason in Java Edition throw clay to player during village hero gift which can be baked into unstained clay. ImakerB (talk) 13:21, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Ah ok thanks, I think someone should put that fact somewhere on the page Yep,AnotherSlimyPython (talk) 01:35, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
