While I was 100% against taking down crying obsi, I am so-so with this one. It should have a footnote about it, but I doubt a page is the answer. How about redirecting this page to Unimplemented features and make a small article there, and let link Template:blocks to that footnote as well?--Yurisho 19:45, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Crying obsidian still has remnants ingame. This was just an extremely minor idea. --Moxxy 21:12, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
This is a Minecraft Wiki. It documents everything about Minecraft. If it was planned for Minecraft then it should be kept in. -- Dab1998 08:38, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
The planned features that are kept on the wiki were discussed many times by the devs (See Lanterns) or still have remnants in the source code (See Crying Obsidian). This meets neither of those. We cannot add everything that was mentioned by a dev. Otherwise we would have to go through Jeb, Notch's and other Devs twitters and add Dozens of pages. --Moxxy 12:09, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
and why would we do that? There is no need to delete pages that is not vandalism or spam. Even if people think this is trivia, there's no need to delete it, nor is there a reason to create any more unimplemented item/block pages. - Asterick6 23:55, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Update: Oh wait a sec.. this article is new. Maybe this page can be deleted. I don't care much really, but I'm not a deletionist. And btw Moxxy, read WP:ALLORNOTHING. - Asterick6 23:59, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Btw guys, check out Talk:Spikes as well. - Asterick6 00:07, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Update: This one as well: [[Talk:Spiked Piston]] - Asterick6 00:26, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for clearing that up Asterick6. I'll spend some time going through the tweets and citing them on this page. The only citation currently on this page made it look like it was another "Giant Spider" mess. (Also thanks for the allornothing link, I'll try to watch myself over that from now on)--Moxxy 03:46, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Nbd, and thanks for your help, effort, and contributions btw. - Asterick6 06:18, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

I fleshed out the article a little and gave more info about the Spike Blocks. I hope it doesn't get deleted :( -- Dab1998 08:48, 15 March 2012 (UTC) please dont delete it keep it as an historical note such as the bleed obsidian please! and what abaut if jeb or notch wants to add them agian??? it will be a waste of time!

There is a reason that wikis keep the article history. If it gets implemented, all we need to do is revert to the old version. I will redirect this page to the Upcoming features page, since this topic has no substance. - Asterick6 00:02, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Edit: On a second note, maybe we can keep this article. - Asterick6 06:18, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, I like the sound of the article. can you give us a link? Also, what will be "a wast of time"? Just curious. Spencer10APSC 23:21, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

/* How long? */[edit]

Just HOW LONG did it take for them to find bout the spike block's existence? Reason for question: it was originally supposed to be in 1.8, but now that it!s 1.2.5, they added it o the Unimplented section of blocks. lol. -Evau1, T.S. 21:19, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Many editors and overseers of this wiki prefer not to create new topics until it is officially confirmed. - Asterick6 21:28, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Or did Jeb_ just isolate it from us? Trying not to sound like a troll btw. -Evau1, T.S. 21:22, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

I dont know. But what I say we do, is that we should take the spike block from Adventurecraft, and somehow implement it the Minecraft. try the Adventurecraft game to see the spike block. Fallow this link to download Adventurecraft. [1]. Spencer10APSC 23:25, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
