I belive this page should stay because in the future it will have a use.--Yurisho 12:16, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Ok. I just double checked the creators page. Appears he has a lot more credibility than I first thought. Removing tag. --HexZyle 12:38, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Online multiplayer will not be introduced with 0.5.1, someone needs to change this.

New Update[edit]

I heard that tomorrow (8 April) will be a posibile update, for some reason, I saw a comment from a guy on Google Play Store that tomorrow will be the update. I'm pretty sure about this, should be written? -- DinnerBlazter1 18:48, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

It is not from an official source but I know it was cancelled MinecraftMojangMinecraft (talk) 13:34, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Yes,The update that was supposedly released April 8th was cancelled. But now a new update(major update)has been released and is waiting for verification of Apple.Im not sure about Android cause it only said Apple so maybe its been released for it already. It is said to be 3.0 and will contain crafting, more mobs, finally cave systems(hopefully you can mine ores now.)and possiblly new blocks and items. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by (Talk) 10:33, 13 April 2012. Implementing Hunger Bar[edit]

Didn't Daniel say that there would be no hunger bar b/c some of the controls make it hard to get food? Or did he say that because PE won't be EXACTLY like the PC version? 12:26, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

I think that we NEED A HUNGER BAR only because it makes Minecraft PE even more fun,i also think that pigs, cows, and chicken's should drop food. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Derper12 (Talk|Contribs) 04:41, 19 July 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I agree i would like it if we had a hunger bar it would be more like the computer. By some random guy

Seriously? by some random guy

I agree, if you don't have a hunger bar then there is pretty much no reason to play the game. 5K2012

I disagree, the hunger bar sucks in my opinion it would feel older like the old alpha for Minecraft and I HATE the hunger bar!!!!!!! Megatron James 20:15, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

You hate it? What happens when you decide to make a farm or something, use it for aesthetics? I personally like the idea of a hunger bar and find it rather irritating that you constantly have to stop and eat when there is no regeneration. If food stays the way it is now, there'll literally be a food overflow. It's only logical to use food to regenerate and not just instantly heal. Even though it's Minecraft, it has to have some reality in it, pertaining to the character.

2553399 Woo 17:21, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

I'm with everybody who wants a hunger bar. I have 2 melon farms and I am working on two wheat farms. On a lot of days I get attacked by monsters from my nether reactor, and I actually use food. But on most days, I'm just crafting things inside or adding on to my fortress going underground. I NEED a way to get rid of some of my food, and with a hunger bar, I will eat my food at the rate I generate it.-- 14:49, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

The hunger bar should be added, and so should the experience bar. - MinecraftPhotos4U 07:06, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

I strongly think that the hunger bar should be added to make it more challenging and fun. There's so many food sources to choose from and I easily over flow with food. A player could easily refill his/her health after being brutally attacked. Hunger is one of the main concepts of survival and It's one of the biggest things Pe is missing. 03:07, 12 February 2014 (UTC) B3g335y

Mystery Update[edit]

Minecraft Pocket Edition Date Confirmed Release Date for Minecraft PE Update v04.0 (v1.3.0)[edit]

@jeb_ (his twitter) has clarified that the new update date for Minecraft Pocket Edition v4.0 will be released on the 1st of August 2012. It has been said that the new update will be as you know of as v4.0 will be v1.3.0 NOT v0.1.3 (like one of the previous versions). There will defiantly be furnaces in new update so ores can be smelted. A Youtuber made a video talking about the v1.3.0 update with actual proof and footage of a mojang employee/producer 'Jens' tweeting the release date. The link to the video is: - Which is not mine and I do not own in any way. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Deathgod67 (Talk|Contribs) 19:19, 3 July 2012. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Forget those crappy YT videos. User provided fakes stuff in YT is not a proper reference.
Here is the link to Jeb's tweet. But, he's tweeting about the release date of the PC version V1.3, not of any PE version.
BTW: Minecraft PE version is not done by Mojang, it is done by 4J Studios. --Kumasasa 19:29, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Not true, It is being done by Mojang--King Ellessar 22:51, 1 May 2013 (UTC) Wrong and right, King, 4JStudios is associated with the MC dev team currently and is helping with the review and release of MCPE before PR and other features are released. 2553399 Woo 05:14, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

4JStudios has absolutely nothing to do with Pocket Edition and never did. They don't even work in the same office as Mojang. The main Minecraft and the Pocket Edition are produced in-house by Mojang themselves and 4J does the Xbox 360 Edition. Some map situations[edit]

Some worlds don't have reeds/sugar cane, so some worlds won't be able to make paper, books, bookshelves, and in some time in the future, we won't be able to make anything that involves sugar. All worlds should have some sugar cane or at least let us have sugar cane in our inventory. Or, if you plan on expanding the size of the map, at least add sugar cane somewhere so we can obtain it. 05:28, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Ive found Clay to be the same. Ive searched Several random seeds and still only come up with 0-2 patches of clay. 11:38, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

0.4.0 Update[edit]

Yep it is coming next month. Submitted since august 22... Apple is approving it... I thiink so If peaceful mode is added, The health would go up to full again! Even using food. Creepers and TNT, I dont care about them. No more monsters, since peaceful mode is being added. This will be the worst, I mean-- BEST update ever! Dlpham 18:32, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Really nether when u cant even get obsidian[edit]

I mean the nether is cool but the problem is there are no caves so really u cant get get obsidian –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Georgehg3 (Talk|Contribs) 19:45, 17 September 2012

(Update 0.5.0 you get a ton of obsidian from the nether reactor core so that shouldn't really be a problem. updated 25th January 2013)

Nether Machine Info (0.5.0 new feature)[edit]

You need iron, gold, diamond, and cobblestone to build the Nether Portal. You do not need any obsidian. You craft the core, then build the outer part of it. Once you use the machine, it will create an obsidian dome around you and spawn Zombie Pigmen. It will also drop glowstone dust (which you use to craft glowstone), sugar cane, and other things. Since the obsidian dome is added, you can mine it and their will be a way to get obsidian in survival mode without cheating. This has been confirmed by Johan Bernhardsson, an employee of Mojang, who's currently working on Minecraft Pocket Edition. You can watch him building the reactor in this video: [1] Icybreath4 01:42, 9 November 2012 (UTC)Icybreath4Icybreath4 01:42, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

P.S: 0.5.0 has already been submitted on November 5, 2012. Go here for the list of features: [2]

Submission and Review[edit]

Just a quick message for those who are mercilessly editing the 'Planned Release' table:

Only the Apple Store has the review and approval policy. Google Play does not follow this policy, despite a quick virus scan before the Application becomes available, which takes very little time.

This explains why Mojang only (used to) say that they have submitted to Appstore, because when Apple are ready to approve it they contact Mojang, so Aron can post the Android update as the Apple one rolls out.

It would also be unlikely that Google Play and AppStore approve the update at the same time. Google Play has almost instant approval, so the update is submitted upon AppStore contact/approval.

For those composing a date when confirmed, please don't mention Google Play unless stating that the update will be submitted to Google Play when Apple Store approves the update.

Online Multiplayer?[edit]

IT stated on the wiki that online multiplayer should be in da next update. On the livestream they said u probobly will link your minecraft account to the pocket edition (something like that) does that meam we need to buy minecraft pc? Or will we have the option to create our own mcpe Account <— (would be nice ro make an mcpe account)

(I hope that we we don't need a mojang acount to play online multi player) from random guy-- 06:25, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Nope, Pocket Realms, the next MP feature requires a Mojang account which I recently found out is free, due to someone linking a tweet.

6.0 fixes, 6.1[edit]

If u all are saying OH THIS UPDATE 6.0 IS BUGGY dont fret! On twitter Johan stated that there gonna make a 6.1 update to fix. The bugs it should be sumbmmited tomm or tomm night and should be relesed By the end of this week hopefully =)

Release date column's existence[edit]

Due to the misunderstanding of my intent, and the subsequent protection to stop a potential edit war, I will explain my reasoning in detail, and hopefully those wanting a release date column will read this first before just throwing it in there. Yes, a few days ago I synced page formatting between the Xbox 360 Edition upcoming features and the Pocket Edition upcoming features for consistency. If several editors want the pages to have their separate formatting, I'm all for it, but they should still stay relatively the same. I figure at least following the table format for the planned ideas below the actual features table should be consistent.

The release date column removal on this page, though, is not because of the sync. The release date for the Pocket Edition has the same fate as the Xbox 360 Edition: it is not controlled by Mojang. MCXBLA release dates are ultimately at the hands of Microsoft while MCPE suffers similarly from Apple. So far, the MCPE team tends to sync their Google Play release with Apple's release, which for all intents and purposes, is in their control, since it only takes hours for an update to show up on Google Play. Google does not have a review process, and to make it fair, Mojang tries to follow availability to iOS customers so they don't feel behind, to my understanding. Certain updates, like the 0.6.1 bugfix, was released immediately on Google Play for obvious reasons and the MCPE team was lucky with a quick review process through Apple and had the iOS version out in a day or so. That is not the norm, since the review process for updates normally take weeks.

Because of this uncertainty of release dates, the release date column invites speculation. Mojang and 4JStudios usually get a heads-up that the review is wrapping up, but that only occurs days ahead of time and not worth documenting, while the main computer versions are planned out by Mojang and released in complete control by Mojang, leaving little room for speculation. Now, I'm not saying speculation doesn't happen on the main upcoming features page, but there's little to attract it. I suggest, if an exact release date happens, that it could be simply documented as a reference on the version number in the table or even as a quote in the planned changes following the neat quote idea someone came up with on the Version history/Development versions page.

I would also like to add there are a few examples of speculation issues on this very page, including a link to one of Kappische's Twitter statuses that puts the wiki in a bad light. User:Kanegasi User talk:KanegasiUser:Kanegasi/edit count 05:45, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Why is it different in the Android?[edit]

When I saw someone playing on their Android phone I saw how she could spawn mobs, have flint and steel, use water and lava without a bucket from the upcoming mod, and have ice blocks somehow in her game. I can't find out how she did that, nor will she tell me. So I was looking around, but still I can't find out how. How do you do that? Do any of you guys know? - Catherine Lu

  • Your friend probably had a modded version of the game, which is ready to do on an android. I have a mood that gives me water, ice, and fire, let's me use texture packs and adds caves. Minecraft 0.7.0?[edit]

Can someone tell me if the new MCPE update is 0.6.2 or 0.7.0 because this is really confusing.

Mine on~ Creeperblows12

The only Mojang references I've seen are to 0.7.0, nothing about a 0.6.2 update. The bug tracker also lists 0.7.0 as the only upcoming version. -- Orthotope 08:09, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
It will be released on late April (0.7.0) and maybe 0.7.1 will be bug fix of floating arrow

Online Realms will cost money. Only right now there can only be 10 people on a server so they can test out there systems to see if it wont lag or be many bugs. This Might Change in the future. There will be a chat screen too. P.S. I think chat screen is chat like in the PC. I'm not sure. 02:56, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

How much precisely and is it a one time payment or what?

2553399 Woo 04:11, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Should be free for everyone that has been playing since alpha and before, probably a monthly fee for everyone else. Rcmaehl 04:16, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

That makes no sense. There's been only one version, alpha. I also do not see them giving anyone free realms with exception to the original testers. User:Kanegasi User talk:KanegasiUser:Kanegasi/edit count 05:45, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
Apparently, it's going to be a first come first serve for pocket realms servers at first. after they sort it all out - they'll start charging. - source monthly fee will only be instated after they've worked out the kinks and it will only be applicable to the server operators... users can join for free if they're whitelisted i believe.

Why can't we edit the page to say submitted?[edit]

There is no reason why we shouldn't! If the update has been submitted, readers should be able to find out from the wiki page! Otherwise it is confusing! Someone please reply!

MrAwesome888 19:33, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Release status of Pocket Edition and Xbox 360 Edition invites too much speculation. Mojang does not control the release date, yet people keep spamming the page with date guesses and other unsatisfactory nonsense. Because of this, nothing will be stated about the release status of ether of these editions. The wiki has already been put in a bad light by Mojang employees because of people throwing in fake dates and people assuming they are fact, then ignorantly bothering Mojang about it. There are several examples on this talk page and the talk page of the Xbox 360 upcoming features page. Since simple facts about submissions cannot be properly handled, they will not be documented. User:Kanegasi User talk:KanegasiUser:Kanegasi/edit count 20:16, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Then how are readers supposed to know when an update is submitted? They are used to being able to find out from the page! They know nothing of this conversation here, so if the page doesn't say submitted, they will assume that it (the update) hasn't been submitted! They may even complain to Mojang about further delays! The readers, until now, have always been able to rely on this wiki for true information about submission status! Instead of the disclaimer on the page that tells not to say anything about the release date, why not just have a disclaimer saying that only verifiable information about submission status is allowed? I understand that having false speculation on the page is bad, but so is not saying that it has been submitted when it has! Please try to see this from the perspective of the people who rely on this wiki for information concerning submission dates/status! I will personally monitor the page for unverifiable speculation if that is what it takes to get the people the information that they need! There NEEDS to be a way for the page to say submitted when it has! I'm trying to help here! MrAwesome888 20:17, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I'm really getting sick of this stupid "you-can't-say-if-it's-submitted" rule. If MOJANG has CONFIRMED which it HAS, we should be able to post the submission status! That way, it allows the readers to know AND gets rid of speculation! Someone please work with me here! I REPEAT, THE READERS NEED TO KNOW! Someone please reply! MrAwesome888 19:24, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

As I have said, people can't treat this kind of info correctly here. The wiki is not the only source of information. For this info, people are better off keeping an eye on official sources instead of hoping the documentation on such a fluid piece of information is always accurate. This is an ongoing Internet-wide battle with the entire concept of a wiki and in this case, official sources win. If you still think it's that big of an issue, we could make a visible notice or something pointing readers to places they can keep track of info. User:Kanegasi User talk:KanegasiUser:Kanegasi/edit count 17:07, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

I have edited the page letting readers know where to get release date information without actually posting said information. Hopefully simple facts such as submission will be allowed again someday. MrAwesome888 19:24, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Its November 2nd-3rd!-- 07:50, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Oh and about that food its not a glitch

This was fixed in 0.7.1. 20:21, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

No real information about after 0.7.3[edit]

There is no citation for 0.8.0, and there are no announced features either. This seems to imply that this is nothing more than unsupported speculation, similar to that which robbed the readers of the important release date/submission information. If the Pocket Edition upcoming features page were removed altogether because of this, it would be a terrible and unacceptable blow to the readers and there would be most likely nothing I could do about it. So could someone please add a citation or else remove the part that mentions 0.8.0?

Also, I tried to remove it myself, but when I looked at the changes, it showed that I would have borked the page. I'm asking you guys because I don't know how do do it properly myself.

MrAwesome888 19:04, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Done; it's easy enough to re-add the section once we have confirmed information. -- Orthotope talk 19:38, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. MrAwesome888 19:36, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

What are mipmaps??[edit]

It says for 0.7.4,there'll be "mipmaps" What are they? 10:24, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Future Update Release Dates[edit]

Yeah, I'm not an admin, but this is important:

I among others have been annoyed by people adding release dates on this page, when it clearly says we are not allowed to. This is because false/misleading information was being posted all the time, and a group superior to us (I haven't found out who exactly) said we could no longer post release dates. Now, if we continue to add speculation, our privileges may decrease further. So if you add information, make sure it was confirmed in words and/or pictures DIRECTLY POSTED BY MOJANG. Now, for example, there is no ref for Minecarts under the section for 0.8.0. However, as Johan has confirmed rails, we know minecarts must be added. Say he confirms Villages for 0.9.0. Then we can easily put Villagers as a feature. However, just because he added pumpkins, we cannot put Iron and Snow Golems as confirmed. It just doesn't work like that. So please double-check your sources and don't post release dates.

--JayiPsionix (talk) 21:11, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

Actually, rails being added does not confirm minecarts, since rails can exist without anything to put on them, but if minecarts were added, then rails by definition are confirmed since minecarts need rails. Same with villages, but you can have villagers without villages or villages without villagers. Not everything that comes with a feature is going to be an obvious addition.
As for release dates, the reason they are not allowed on the Xbox or Pocket pages is because of Microsoft and Apple. Their "review" processes they do with app updates makes it impossible to know the exact date, regardless of information from Mojang. It can take weeks from submission to available and both Microsoft and Apple refuse to say anything short of a vague annoucement within hours of public availability, if they even say anything at all and just release the update. Pocket is somewhat special though since Google releases updates within hours of submission, but because of the fussy nature of the other two companies, all dates are speculation by definition, so they are not allowed. Inc Sacs and SQUIDS???!!![edit]

Just wanted to say, If Inc Sacs are being added, doesn't that mean SQUIDS are being added? Why is there no source for Inc Sacs???

Also, how are coacoa beans being added if there are no jungle trees??? 17:59, 28 November 2013 (UTC) Mist178

We don't know, we are not Mojang AB employees, let alone do we develop MineCraft. We simply take notes about the game we love. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Robstar14 (talkcontribs) 00:24, 29 November 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
I realize this, thank you. I simply belive you cannot just throw something down on a page without a proper source (a direct quote or evidence that proves the fact stated) and would like to see a lot more of them so that I can go to those sites and see for myself on Twitter Johan Saying, "YadaYadaYAda WILL be added to MCPE!!!"
Thank You!!! :) 21:32, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

That doesn't mean it is already out; only that it will be out very soon. 20:48, 10 December 2013 (UTC) Mist178

Removal of 0.8.0[edit]

0.8.0 has just been released, so I think we should move it to PE/version history. Who's with me? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) 21:14, 12 December 2013(UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Info from Minecon 2013[edit]

I found some info from watching the video in the ref for Emeralds and Villagers, but I'm not allowed to edit. Someone please add the following to the 'Planned Features' section and ref it to the same video:

- Boats | In the Pocket Edition Future Panel at Minecon 2013, Jeb mentioned that boats should be getting implemented in the future - Gamepad/Keyboard support | In the Pocket Edition Future Panel at Minecon 2013, Jeb stated that support for gamepads and keyboards aren't currently being developed, but shall be pushed for the future - Potions | In the Pocket Edition Future Panel at Minecon 2013, Jeb stated that he would like to add potions, but it is somewhat complicated due to most ingredients for potions are found in the Nether, and may possibly add a new system to get such ingredients. Tommaso replied in response to this that there will be new ways to obtain Nether related items in 0.9.0 - Capes | In the Pocket Edition Future Panel at Minecon 2013, Jeb stated that capes may be implemented for Minecon 2014 - Spawn eggs for hostile mobs | In the Pocket Edition Future Panel at Minecon 2013, Jeb stated in response to a question "I think so. I don't see why they shouldn't be there." - Texture pack support | In the Pocket Edition Future panel at Minecon 2013, Johan stated that with the new texture system, it may be possible to add support for texture packs. He has considered it for after 0.9.0

If you don't believe me, watch and review the video –Preceding unsigned comment was added by GameFreak667 (talkcontribs) 01:44, 21 December 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I've noticed that Tyveskyo is putting in false information again for 0.9.0. Although the stuff he's putting is confirmed, it is NOT confirmed for 0.9.0 as of now. Can you undo some of his edits? -- 18:38, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Tell me what those things are and I will move them to the Other planned features section. GameFreak667 (talk) 18:48, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
Well they're actually the things that are in the Other planned features (hostile mob spawn eggs, placeable redstone, day-night cycle in Creative, etc). Jeb didn't say they were going to be added in 0.9.0, he said that they would be in a future update. -- 19:36, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
Well, I edited it, but the neutral descriptions I put up are most likely innacurate. I need someone to fix them. GameFreak667 (talk) 21:00, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
Ugh, I just checked and he undid your edit..can you check the video on the future of Pocket Edition just to make sure? -- 02:39, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
I watched and closely inspected the Minecon Panel video and fixed up everything about it. Through that inspection, I also found some new stuff.
GameFreak667 (talk) 00:17, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
Nice work; thanks! -- Orthotopetalk 00:55, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
Well, Tyveskyo keeps undoing my edit for the underworld structure. He thinks it makes no sense, but he is just being dumb. The underworld structure has not been confirmed for the 0.9.x updates, as most of them were bug fix updates. Can you try temp-banning his account for a few days so he stops? MarioProtIV (talk) 11:47, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

Windows Phone?[edit]

Will PE ever be ported to Windows phone?

As far as I know, no Mojang staff members have said anything about it. I may not be the most accurate source, though, so you may want to ask this question on the PE page or the forums. Also remember to sign your edits by typing four tildes (~).-- 14:20, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
Actually, at Minecon 2012, they said they can't port PE to Windows because the source and code for it is too different from Android and iOS to be compatible with them. GameFreak667 (talk) 16:00, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

As I know Mojang has not said anything about it.... this wiki may not be the right source I suggest you keep updated on Mojang--UltimateMcraft (talk) 10:45, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

First Al in pocket edition (0.9.0)[edit]

I have discovered on the wiki that they will not add wolves to 0.8.0 or 0.8.1. So, if it releases on 0.9.0 or hit beta and release it, then the Al (Wolf) will be released in 2014. I'm so excited to see the new update!!!! Even 2013 Is almost over! I've seen it in my iimmaaggggiinnaattiioonn!! 2014, here I come!!!! Happy New year, notch!!

Your biggest minecraft fan, Ever

Right under where it says that most biomes from 1.7 will be added, it lists Mesa specifically. Last time I checked, Mesa was added in 1.7. Somebody needs to remove it.-- 14:36, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

It says most, not all, and therefore would need to be specified. GameFreak667 (talk) 04:06, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

If it says most, then shouldn't it be specified which aren't going to be added?- 14:36, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

Nether in Next update?[edit]

Hi, all. the page for minecraft pocket edition upcoming features says that there is possibly going to be Ghasts. Does this mean they are adding the Nether also? because where else would the Ghasts spawn? it's not confirmed that there will be Ghasts, but if there is then, there should be The Nether! --Birdnerd12 (talk) 01:07, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Ghasts would likely spawn when the Nether Reactor is used. Mojang has stated that, due to technical limitations, adding the Nether would be incredibly difficult or downright impossible at the moment. Mojang's staff is contemplating replacing the Nether Reactory with a generated structure that would contain Nether stuff. 01:35, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

It dosent say that villages will be added in generated structures-- 17:15, 12 March 2014 (UTC)

Has a Mojang employee ever confirmed that villages will be added? -- Orthotopetalk 19:49, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
Yes. I added it to the generated structures section under 0.9.0. User:Synco123 "Synco" (talk) 23:17, 14 March 2014 (UTC)

Redstone blocks have not been implemented on the IOS version of minecraft. Neither has pressure pads, dispensers or anything engineer related. They are on PC and Xbox version though.

Some things are on PC but not on Xbox. But nothing is on Xbox that is not on PC. 18:52, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Hostile Mob Spawn Eggs[edit]

I read on Twitter that they are adding Hostile Mob Spawn Eggs for 1.0, should i add it? --MrPoshLynx 22:51, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

If it's a Mojang employee saying so, yes. If it's a random user or one of the numerous official-sounding but fake accounts (MCPE News etc.), no. The accounts listed here are the only ones that are valid sources of information. -- Orthotopetalk 23:46, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Eye of Ender[edit]

Hi y'all. Jeb posted this on Instagram about a week ago from when I'm writing this: The pic very clearly shows an Eye of Ender in the closest end portal frame on the left. If some brave soul would want to update the gamepedia with that info, it would be much appreciated. I would do it but I have absolutely no idea how to, and I would most likely mess it up. Thanks! 14:12, 14 May 2014 (UTC) TimPlaysMCPE

End portal frames sometimes generate with Eyes of Ender already inserted. Until it's confirmed that the Eye items will also be implemented (which is questionable, since he said it wouldn't be possible to activate the portal yet), they shouldn't be added to the page. -- Orthotopetalk 18:10, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

Should 0.9.0 be Moved?[edit]

Version 0.9.0 has been submitted officially today. It hasn't been released yet, but it is technically the newest versions. Possible move to Pocket Edition version history? –Preceding unsigned comment was added by MuensterQ999 (talkcontribs) at 01:05, 1 July 2014 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Approval from Apple usually takes a week or so; wait until it's actually available in the app stores. -- Orthotopetalk 01:10, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Edit warring[edit]

Knock it off, people; it happens too many times on this article. If there's disagreement about the content, it should be discussed here on the talk page, and whatever consensus is reached should be respected. -- Orthotopetalk 17:07, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

Saddles can be found in the village blacksmith chests, though I do not know if they are still unusable. Just thought I should mention this because the pig riding future feature section only talks about cheated-in saddles.

Remove 0.9.6, pls[edit]

Because 0.10.0 already in development. --DragonX24 (talk) 07:56, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

Beyond alpha 0.11.0[edit]

Before the addition of planned versions, there was information about a version called 0.1x.0. Now, the information about that version no longer exists. The version will have major features like the nether. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) at 2:03, 15 January 2015 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Everything previously on this page under 0.1x.0 is now filed under 0.11.0 on the Planned versions page, with the exception of the stuff added in 0.10.0, and a few things never stating as coming in 0.11.0, which are on Pocket Edition mentioned features. KnightMiner (t·c) 02:54, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
