The update Aquatic[edit]

This update is coming to Bedrock :) Xgui5 (talk) 11:18, 21 April 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, it came (now when I realised this, it shocked me) 6, 7 or 8 months ago, and I clearly remember talking about it with my freind (one month before part 1 came to java, which is 9 or 10 months ago) as if it was 1 hour ago! Jbailey11322 (talk) 02:27, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Just question[edit]

For The update Aquatic on console i# coming or not ? Xgui5 (talk) 12:27, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Legacy Console Edition don't have named updates, their version names differ from each version, such as TU, CU and others. It is confirmed that Legacy Console Edition should be getting more ocean content in the future. Reference: “There should be more to sea soon ;)”@4JStudios, April 12, 2018 Skylord wars (talk) 12:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
If you mean Bedrock, it is comfirmed. See Update Aquatic. Skylord wars (talk) 12:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Thanks you Xgui5 (talk) 21:37, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

aquatic wasnt on xbox one edition. it hasnt been updated for a while Jbailey11322 (talk) 03:22, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

1.15 and 1.16[edit]

There aren’t any sources from mojang directly what the updates will be about, only a french tweet by aypierremc; and it doesn’t say anything about those versions specifically (only that one of the 2 will revisit combat), and the wiki says nothing about them at all; so why are they mentioned? FVbico (talk) 05:15, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, in my opinion, if no information about these two updates is known, then they really aren't worth mentioning here. 46.132.184.9 17:20, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
also agree, the "information" provided is a long winded way of saying 7 is after 6. Untill any scrap of real information is known it should be removed --64.130.167.234 02:24, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
I’d like one more opinion before I remove these, anyone? FVbico (talk) 13:20, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
Support removal. --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 17:03, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
Me too. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 17:04, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
It's not from Mojang directly, isn't very specific or clear, and doesn't include much of info. I'd say merge the headings of 1.15 and 1.16 into something like "Further ahead", keep it in one short phrase, and list all the sources in one group at the end of the sentence. Something along the lines of "Some future plans include a revisit of combat, gameplay mechanics and a new 'Super Fancy' graphics setting". Because it is still related information albeit very little, but isn't sourced well enough to warrant specific planned version numbers. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 19:00, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
I went ahead and changed it to my suggestion above, seeing nobody opposed to it for almost a month. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 08:48, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
Also posted a suggestion to fix this on the main page as well in this editcopy edit. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 09:01, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
Maybe change the heading to "other future plans"? Reposting my messages from Discord:
> Maybe "other future plans"?
> TexUpdate and 1.14 are also "future plans", no?
<...>
> And "further ahead" would imply some sort of known ordering of these updates and greater determinism on their release...

Bedrock 1.8 and 1.9[edit]

1.8 and 1.9 Village and pillage phase 1 to Phase 2 Therealtomcatgame (talk) 23:02, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

1.8 village and pillage Phase 1 and 1.9 Village and pillage Phase 2 is coming on December 2018 and is coming on Early 2019 Therealtomcatgame (talk) 23:03, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

In matters like this, involving official update names and release dates, we only publish information from an official source. Do you have one? If not, it's just speculation. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 23:05, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

I have one version which is 1.9 Village And Pillage Phase 2 Therealtomcatgame (talk) 23:12, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

  • What are you even saying lol. – Nixinova  23:14, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

1.11[edit]

1.11 should have its own page now, and you should mention it will probably add illager patrols, raids, the wither rose, and foxes.73.208.227.101 00:12, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

It hasn't actually been confirmed what will be added but the page will surely be created quite soon after the first beta comes out. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1.png Nixinova sig2.png 00:14, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
The beta is out now.73.208.227.101 22:23, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
No, the current beta is still 1.10.0.4. If you're a Marketplace creator or other advance tester, you might have an early 1.11 beta, but it isn't publicly available yet. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 14:46, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
This type of beta is known as "private betas". --HaydenBobMutthew (talk, contribs) 14:50, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
Oh yeah your right I just saw something on the illager patrol page (the thing I saw is now removed) and thought it was out sorry.73.208.227.101 23:17, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
Somehow that vandalism remained there for a couple of days.– Nixinova Nixinova sig1.png Nixinova sig2.png 03:23, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

is this for bedrock? Jbailey11322 (talk) 03:17, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Yes it is. Java Edition 1.11 came out in late 2016, from memory. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1.png Nixinova sig2.png 03:23, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
By the way, your edits suggest you might be confusing the wiki, and specifically its talk pages, with a Minecraft discussion forum. That's not what it is: It's an encyclopedia about the game, and the talk pages are for talking about work that needs to be done to its articles. (The comments you responded to above [edit: at the top of the page] were written by other people with the same misunderstanding. They would normally have been removed, but I guess nobody bothered.) If you're looking for game discussion, the big banner box at the top of the page has some links for sites where you can do that. You won't find any secret plans here that they don't know about. (In fact, you'll probably find less of it here, because we don't allow guesswork in our articles.) Of course, you're also welcome to help out here by editing the articles. If you'd like to do that, I recommend starting at the Welcome page. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 03:44, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
