Name of the mod[]

What is the actual name of this mod/plugin? The page calls it "Runecraft" everywhere, but the title is "Runecraft new" which contradicts a later claim of being one of the oldest SMP mods. If its title is simple "Runecraft", the page would be better situated at a title like "Runecraft (Bukkit)". KnightMiner (t·c) 20:47, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Looks like there's only one Runecraft mod; the only change is a new lead developer (see the original forum thread). Since it's just the latest version of the same mod – not even a fork – the Mods/Runecraft page should updated, rather than making a new page. -- Orthotopetalk 21:23, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Sorry about making a new page, this is only temporary, I'm the one who made it. The purpose for this page is to keep the information available while I rewrite the whole page and most of the subpages and didn't want to takedown the original page while I'm doing it. When I'm finished making this I will be moving it to where the original Runecraft page is. Sorry about the confusion. -- Amuxix (talk) 11:02, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Moving Wiki[]

While Runecraft's place as a branch in the Minecraft Wiki is great and all. I believe that this Wiki should have it's own separate wiki elsewhere. This would allow us to edit the background and customize it to Runecraft's advantage rather than using the Minecraft Wiki background. This would also prevent the confusion when searching for things (as it searches the entire Minecraft Wiki) and it would also allow us to use the sidebars for important information. Other Minecraft plugins have already begun doing this, and I thought that we should follow suit.

We don't benefit much from the attachment to the Minecraft Wiki, for we are quite hidden along their pages and links. The issue with this is that it is going to take quite a bit of work, however I believe that if we create our own Runecraft Wiki, separate from the Minecraft Wiki, it would help us in the long run. --SandSurfer (talk) 18:50, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

This is something we, as developers, have been discussing and had made the call to do, but haven't had the opportunity to move to that just yet. It's something we actively are working towards, and will hopefully have something like this set up in the coming weeks. Join us on our discord, and we'll keep you all up to date on what's going on!

Ah ok! Also, going off topic for a bit, I would like to work on the Runecraft Wiki and try to do some visual updates. Should I hold off on that or work on it now? Additionally, I appear to not be able to create pages because of a filter saying i'm creating an unnecessary page. Am I just not able to create pages? --SandSurfer (talk) 03:21, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
If you ask curse they'll probably give you a wiki. Although, moving your content to the ftb: wiki would be more appropriate, as that is more of a general mod wiki (despite the name). MajrTalk

I'm totally late to the discussion, but if you have any interesting moving over to the FTB/Modded Minecraft Wiki, feel free to contact me/us on IRC at #ftb-wiki on Espernet, or on Discord here. -Xbony2 (FTB Wiki Admin) (talk) 18:40, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

Now that the wiki move seems to have been completed, can we nuke all of the remaining pages on this wiki? - User-12316399 (talk) 22:29, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

See MCT:CP#Wiki cleanup. Also, your wording makes it seem like you would like to delete the entire wiki. – Nixinova Nixinova sig image 1 Nixinova sig image 2 22:41, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
Don't give me ideas. - User-12316399 (talk) 19:37, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
Brilliant idea, I have now deleted every single page on the wiki except for this one. I've deleted most everything relating to the mod (I double-checked that everything I deleted was actually on the new wiki and it was); however, there are many subpages of [[Mods/Runecraft old]] that are not on the new wiki, so I haven't deleted those yet. @Lvletei: Do you plan on adding the /Runecraft old pages to the new Runecraft Wiki? If so, we can keep these for now and then once you add them to that wiki we can delete them over here. If you don't plan on adding them there, I suppose we can just delete them on this wiki here and now.-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed TerracottaTalk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta 15:08, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Nixinova I saw that you tagged [[Mods/Runecraft old]] for deletion, so just wondering if you saw my last comment here. I'm also probably going to email Lvletei about this as they haven't responded to my ping; it's likely that they don't check this wiki regularly.--Madminecrafter12 (Talk to me | View what I've done) 20:04, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Madminecrafter12 Sorry! You're totally correct, I stopped checking this after we moved. Nope. You're good to get rid of them. Thank you for checking before just nuking though. It's greatly appreciated. :D Lvletei (talk) 03:04, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
No worries, that's understandable. Thanks for the reply. I've nuked Mods/Runecraft old and all of its subpages. The only thing I'm not sure about is deleting Talk:Mods/Runecraft old, as it has a ton of content and discussion in it. Maybe it would be better to move it to an archive of this page?--Madminecrafter12 (Talk to me | View what I've done) 03:23, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
We can probably get rid of that too. That's all in the substantially older and undocumented versions. (edit: Forgot to sign oops) Lvletei (talk) 20:17, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
