Create Objects page[edit]

I think that in addition to pages on simple built-in objects it would be useful to have a catalogue of complex objects designed by users. Just one example - refrigerator. Currently all this stuff is only available on youtube, but it doesn't provide a way to catalogue stuff. A section on this wiki would be useful. 10:33, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Do you mean mods? If not, I have no idea what you're talking about. return_0 03:25, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

I think he means things like furniture. Onewa64 15:08, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Exactly what I'm saying. There's no furniture in Minecraft, unless there's a mod for it. If so, that belongs in the Mods page. return_0 16:55, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
I think he means things like player built structures, like a decoration plant pot made with grass surrounded by trapdoors. And there is a page in tutorials with these. Pokechu22 20:49, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

If you're talking about furniture for looks, I use wooden stairs for chairs and couches. But if you actually want to sit, I think you're out of luck. :D Yeah, I know that has nothing to do with refrigerators. Pickledbeans94 23:07, 17 October 2012 (UTC) Pickledbeans94 Since there is already an item page, I think people might get a bit confused if there was an object page. Just add the objects to the items.Traviscoltsfan 15:23, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

pocket edition updates[edit]

0.4.0 is out for ios 0.5.0 is out and awesome!

Demo Link[edit]

The "Download the PC demo!" link needs to me changed to the Minecraft launcher download becuase it has a demo built in to it. --007a83 (Talk|Contribs) 05:48, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

It has to be http://www.minecraft.net/demo --IMeta95 20:23, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

^ --007a83 (Talk|Contribs) 23:02, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Agreed. The PC-Gamer demo is no longer supported anyways. Coocoo617 14:19, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Version updated for iOS but not Android[edit]

The Pocket Edition Version History page shows 0.3.3 for iOS, but not for Android. I understand that the changelog was not updated on the Android app itself, but the update is there. So it should show up on the version history page. return_0 23:04, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

0.3.3 is now available for the Android and the iOS--Bluealex106 18:35, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Okay, that's exactly what I said. return_0 22:32, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

XBLA Notation[edit]

I feel that the version number for the XBLA version should have the PC eqiuvilent next to it. Just a thought. DigiDuncan 19:13, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

The "Download the PC demo" text should say "Play the PC demo" because you don't need to download the .exe to play the demo anymore. It is hosted off the website. Coocoo617 19:51, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

^^ Some one please update the main page.--007a83 (Talk|Contribs) 16:32, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

I suggest you get rid of that asap, as it is way too large, and it's ugly. It pushes the actual content of the main page too far down the page. -- Wynthyst Image:User Wynthyst sig icon.png talk 03:10, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

It probably doesn't need to be so large, and it certainly should've been discussed first. I didn't even know it was done, it still has all the inkscape metadata in it. ultradude25 (T|C) at 07:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

MineCon info[edit]

I've added MineCon as an entry to the News section in the editcopy since it is pretty major event for Minecraft. I think all future major events like this should be shown in the News section on the front page. --M0rphzone 06:25, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Server Up/Down widget[edit]

I saw this somewhere for the login servers and such being online or offline, but I don't remember where it was. I remember it was a Curse site, and not the spout site. Could someone redirect me to where it is? Thanks! -An Anonymous IP that doesn't want to be hacked :p –Preceding unsigned comment was added by (Talk) 19:50, September 24th 2012 (UTC).

Minecraft 1.4[edit]

Minecraft 1.4 is out! Someone update the main page! Peapodamus 14:21, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Peapodamus

Hello There, I dont know where I can put it in and I think that is wrong here, but... Mozilla Firefox and Google said that this site can harm my PC. I have here a screenshot. click here for screenshot

I propose a change in wording.[edit]

The link underneath "upcoming features" called "official mod support" should be titled "official modification support". I know it has said this for ever, but it confuses me on a monthly basis, because I think Mojang has announced official moderator support. I didn't want to just change it because it's on the main page. File:Grid Gold Ingot.pngHailfireFile:Grid Iron Ingot.png 11:24, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Development Blog?[edit]

Minor nitpick, but is that link really relevant any more? Notch's blog doesn't have a lot to do with development any more since all of that's on Jeb's twitter Eggman 08:25, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

The new Development Blog is Minecraft: Into the Void at http://dev.minecraft.net/blog/

Minecraft 1.4.5pre out[edit]

Please update the main page.

--Thvortex 18:45, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Version update requests/reminders actually go here, or on an admin's talk page. --Kanegasi C 20:20, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Some Moron Griefed The Front Page[edit]

I know I'm being really obvious here, but...^^^ 00:16, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

They didn't do it to the front page, they did it to {{escaped link|Template:!}}, which is displayed on the Front Page. It looks like the action was undone. -- LostInRiverview 00:24, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
I have absolutely no idea how they managed to edit that template. Only admins should have that ability. -- Hower64 00:33, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
When I asked Dinoguy1000 about the issue, he responded "The most I can offer is that cascading protection has always interacted a bit weirdly with the cache, meaning it should generally be used as a backup protection, instead of relying directly on it.". As the template has now been protected, the issue shouldn't occur again. -- Hower64 05:11, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Request: Server/Requirements[edit]

Requesting to add Server/Requirements in the Servers and development section of the Main page.--Wiki-asd-97 02:33, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
