Move to "Redstone mechanics"[]

The following discussion of a proposal to move this page to "Redstone mechanics" was closed. Please do not modify it. Make subsequent comments below this or make a new topic.
Done. Pages were moved per this discussion. Supeika (talk) 01:04, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

All these set of articles need to be rewritten. This one needs to be more general and talk only about general aspects. Also, being a subpage of a redirect doesn't make sense, so it should be renamed to Redstone mechanics. Supeika (talk) 20:38, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Support. The whole thing needs restructuring. Even the 'root' page Mechanics is a redirect to a tutorial, which is just wrong. Instead, it should be a directory of sorts, to other mechanics pages. We already have anvil mechanics as its own page, why not redstone mechanics? Amatulic (talk) 01:51, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
 Weak support (for the renaming)
  • This page represents literally the details of redstone mechanics, extracted from the "Redstone circuts" page which was already under Mechanics. I think I did a decent job of keeping all the existing information and making it readable; if you think you can do better without losing information, then go for it!
  • We do need a page that covers all these details, I'm OK with it being renamed to "Redstone mechanics", but really, Mechanics/Redstone is already a reasonable place for the game mechanics specific to redstone.
  • I'd also be fine with turning the Mechanics redirect into an index page, I did that with Tutorials/Redstone.

I made a post on the community portal. See it to see the entire proposal, as it covers not only this page but also all the other subpages. Supeika (talk) 02:16, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
The page (along with this talk page) has been moved as suggested by Supeika above. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 00:54, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
