Talk:Java Edition Classic 0.0.11a
In the jar file it says
"minimumLauncherVersion": 7, "releaseTime": "2009-05-16T22:00:00+00:00", "time": "2016-02-02T15:37:47+00:00", "type": "old_alpha"
So May 16 is given as the release date, not May 18 as the page says. Which is correct? – Nixinova 21:26, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
- It should be May 16. On the tigsource forum that was posted on May 17 by Notch, the version there was 0.0.11a. So it must be before or on May 18.--Skylord wars (talk) 02:37, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
Minecraft will freeze and crash when closed
In 0.0.11a (but not rd-161348) pressing the red X or closing Minecraft is any other way will cause it to freeze on a black screen before finally closing. My theory is that this was either in 0.0.10a (probably having something to do with that version not loading correctly), or that it was a byproduct of the start and destroy function fixes for 0.0.11a. Either way this "feature" (more like a bug) exists in 0.0.11a to survival test and possibly on to Indev or even early Infdev, and I feel it should be mentioned in the version history in whatever version it was added
