This is a talk page for discussing the article documenting the April Fools snapshot. It is not a place for jokes or vandalism.

Fishing[edit]

What does this sentence mean in the article? "Players can catch a fish mob, guardian, elder guardian, squid, or boat when fishing." I fished a few times, but only got items. Is it supposed to mean that an elder guardian can jump towards you instead of an item? Fabian42 (talk) 17:18, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

@Fabian42 I did not expect to go fishing, pull on a bite, and have a boat fly towards me, landing on the beach. When I hooked a squid, it simply spawned a squid where the bob was floating--it did not drag it towards me. So if it is a live mob, it may just spawn it at the bob in the water instead of sending it flying towards you. 67.240.52.121 19:00, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

Russia[edit]

/warp russia crashes the game!?! 49.228.179.23 06:38, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

Not for me. It's an End-type generation that looks like a snowy Overworld. I couldn't even see any mobs, everything is fine. Which seed did you use? Fabian42 (talk) 08:27, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Oppose }J<*c. 49.228.179.23 08:57, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
What? That is not a seed. I asked which seed you used. Fabian42 (talk) 10:06, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Yeah. 49.228.179.23 07:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
Also try other /warp European countries. 49.228.176.243 09:16, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

}J<*c[edit]

"That's because the game only supports non-negative numbers within its registries. There also exists a dimension (with a warp string }J<*c that is a dimension ID _generated:1423540522) that causes a crash because it triggers a 1 in 4 billion edge case where one of the biome IDs is INT_MIN, so it stays negative after the absolute value is taken." How the dimension }J<*c looks like? 49.228.179.23 08:58, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

It has no look, because it can never be generated. Fabian42 (talk) 10:06, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Disagree: Please try again. 49.228.176.243 10:04, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
What? 49.228.177.179 08:57, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
What the heck it was be that there! 49.228.177.179 08:58, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Please stop spamming this discussion page. Currently at least 15 of the 25 discussion contributions are yours and most of them do nothing useful. There are essentially INFINITE possible dimensions, you CANNOT POSSIBLY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ALL OF THEM. There is also no meaning behind the words that you input or the numbers they get converted to, there is no meaning behind any of the elements in the generated dimensions, their arrangements, etc. Please stop this, it is not helpful. Fabian42 (talk) 09:58, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Lighting?[edit]

"The lighting system between buffet worlds and unique dimensions is different. In the Overworld there can be darkness, while in the Easter Egg generated dimension there can not be (i.e. "fleet" (minecraft:between) and "shapes" (minecraft:shapes))." What is this supposed to mean? --Brmiller50 (talk) 10:34, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

It's probably another way of saying that the day/night cycle has different speeds. So you can have it be day in one dimension and night in another. I didn't test that myself and didn't pay attention to it in Panda's streams, so I don't know if that's actually true or if only the sky is affected by the day/night cycle speed. /warp europe[edit]

/warp europe don't crash the game. 49.228.176.243 09:10, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

So? There are literally billions of possible book contents that don't crash the game. It's an extremely rare occurrence that it does crash. Fabian42 (talk) 14:14, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

2137[edit]

What the dimension "2137" looks like? 49.228.176.243 10:09, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

  • Please see the Polish Minecraft Wiki. 49.228.176.243 10:26, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

/b/[edit]

/warp /b/ sends you to shapes. Not sure if anyone cares.

pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis[edit]

Please /warp pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (the longest English word), then this warped dimension looks like? 49.228.176.243 10:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Why do you keep asking about specific dimensions? There are literally trillions, you can't possibly expect to get an answer for all of them! And nobody could do anything different than trying it out anyway, which you can also do yourself. Fabian42 (talk) 10:30, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Additionally, these aren't special cases and can change based on the system, time you first enter, etc. Most are randomly generated, the select few that aren't are already listed. FVbico (talk) 11:05, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Please test it. 49.228.177.179 07:28, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
I tested: _generated:567193 biome with soul sand, end pillars and smoke particles. What the heck it was be that there!?! 49.228.177.179 08:59, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Anything more to crash[edit]

Are there anything more about various dimensions can crash Minecraft? .49.228.177.179 08:55, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

abatised redivides[edit]

You go to true The End, like the_end_portal, if used on random dimensions you go to The End on absulute position.
