Scope[]

Instead of just a raw history table and that's it, this should instead be moved to World generation and changed into an overview of structures, terrain, etc, describing how Minecraft generates its terrain.  Nixinova T  C   20:27, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

It shouldn't. This would end up taking up way more space on the page than would be reasonable. - User-12316399 (talk) 21:35, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
How about we keep this page and create a new article called World generation that only concerns the current version? Fadyblok240 (talk) 15:32, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
 Support this new proposal. - User-12316399 (talk) 12:46, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
Support, there is not an article about world gen yet which I need.Humiebeetalk contribs 18:07, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Support, this is a veeery long article as it is, and its still got lots of info missing. Id suggest keeping this and other very detailed history pages as seperate from the main one.Antermc (talk) 02:56, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Support as I think world generation definitely warrants an article of its own. Highlandhill (talk) 05:09, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Support (example) I was just now trying to find out what the "current" size for the natural dirt/grass layer is. I can't find it in this history or any other and don't really care about whether it has changed; I just want to know what it is *right now* so I can terraform/flatten accordingly. I think there are similar (and probably more important) questions that could be asked in the same vein, and the more comprehensive our information, the better.
Support I agree, it would be better for overview, also it is more relevant in World generation than having a page on it´s own. --Goro488 (talk) 16:52, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
