"Major" update?

Is 1.7 described as a "major" update because the version changed from 1.6 to 1.7? From a user's perspective, there aren't really any noticeable or obvious differences from 1.6. It feels more like a maintenance update with some minor improvements. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:59, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

I would agree that this update isn't very significant, but "major" just means that the second number in the version has changed—nothing else. – Nixinova 02:30, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

That's what I figured. Where I work, the number after the decimal point is considered a "major" revision, and the "1" in front of the decimal point never changes. :) ~Amatulić (talk) 05:10, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
