The specific problem is: Move most to history

reserved6 is an unused block with a completely off-white texture present in Bedrock Edition. It acted as a placeholder block for fire between v0.3.3 alpha and v0.6.1 alpha, due to a bug in fire spreading mechanics that caused fire to spread to any block. Before becoming unused, the block was called .name and it had the texture of a stone block. In v0.7.0 alpha, fire returned with fixed spreading mechanics, replacing reserved6. Its data value, however, changed to ID 255. Currently, it can only be obtained through inventory editing.

History[edit]

Pocket Edition Alpha
v0.3.3Stone JE2 BE1.png Added block with id 255. block uses texture of stone.
Fire has been removed, due to a spreading error. It has been replaced by block 255. It is can only be obtained through worlds with fire previously spawned, or by third-party software.
v0.5.0With the addition of tooltips, block 255 display the name ".name<".
v0.7.0.name< has been replaced by fire, but still exists in the game. Re-implemented fire with better spreading mechanics.
v0.7.5.name< no longer breaks quickly. It now takes the same amount of time to break as stone. However, the breaking time appears to be very inconsistent, and may vary from update to update and device to device.
v0.8.0build 2.name.png .name< now uses a solid gray texture, derived from the top-left pixel of the grass block top texture.
?The reserved6 block no longer has a red background.
v0.11.0build 1".name<" has been renamed to ".name".
v0.13.0build 1".name" has been renamed to "tile.reversed6.name".
v0.15.0build 1Info update BE1.png tile.reversed6.name now uses texture of tile.info_update.name.
