Redstone bug was a hostile mob present in [[Java Edition 2.0
Redstone bugs won’t drop a single redstone dust when it is killed by a player or a tamed wolf
Spawn
Redstone bugs spawned close to redstone which was rapidly oscillating between strengths.
Behavior
Redstone bugs, effectively being tinted silverfish, shared all of their behavior.
Redstone bug can also be found spawning in stronghold area.

Redstone bugs used the ID of silverfish, different from them only by a newly-added Color NBT, which could have any color applied to it via editing, not just the redstone shades.
