A raw porkchop is a food item that can be eaten by the player or cooked to make a cooked porkchop.

Obtaining[edit]

Pigs[edit]

Adult pigs will drop 1–3 raw porkchop when killed. The maximum amount is increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 1-6 with Looting III. If killed while on fire, they will instead drop cooked porkchop.

Natural generation[edit]

Raw porkchops can be found in 48.6% of village butcher chests in stacks of 1–3.

Usage[edit]

Food[edit]

To eat raw porkchop, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 3 (Half Hunger.svgHunger.svg) hunger and 0.6 hunger saturation.

Villager butchers will buy 14 to 18 raw porkchops for an emerald as an initial tier trade.‌[Legacy Console Edition only]

Novice-level butcher villagers have a 13 chance to buy 7 raw porkchop for an emerald as their trades.‌[Bedrock Edition only]

Novice-level Butcher villagers have a 40% chance to buy 7 raw porkchop for an emerald.‌[Java Edition only]

Wolves[edit]

Raw porkchops can be used to breed and heal tamed wolves, lead them around, and make baby tamed wolves grow up faster by 10% of the remaining time.
