Overworld Update

The Overworld Update is the name for Minecraft: Pocket Edition version Alpha 0.14.0, a major update released on February 18, 2016.
The official name for the update, the Overworld Update, was revealed on February 18, 2016, the day of the release, in a blog post on the Xbox website.[1]

- Various additions to options.
- 10 new blocks:
- Comparators, Dispensers, Droppers, Hoppers, Minecart with chest, Minecart with TNT, Minecart with hopper, Cauldrons, Red sandstone (alongside its variants), and Slime blocks.
- 3 new items:
- Item frames, Maps, and Ender pearls.
- Witch huts.
- Witches.

Further revisions[edit]
- Alpha 0.14.1 added the Minecraft: Story Mode skin pack.
- Alpha 0.14.2 fixed some bugs and crashes from Alpha 0.14.1.
- Alpha 0.14.3 added the Biome Settlers Pack 2 skin pack.
