Metals[edit]

IndustrialCraft introduces 4 new metals. In addition, Iron Dust and Gold Dust are obtainable by placing Iron Ore and Gold Ore into the Macerator, which doubles the amount of material gained per block of ore.

Bronze Ingot[edit]

Bronze is created by smelting Bronze Dust.

Bronze Ingots are used to craft Bronze tools and armor, and is the only metal the Wrench can be made from.
  • Notes:
Bronze tools and armor have similar characteristics to Iron Tools and Armor, but are 30% more durable.
It has been theorized that Bronze could be used as an alternative to Iron in the making of minecart rails...

Copper is the product of smelting Copper Ore or Copper Dust.

Copper is a vital element in IndustrialCraft, as it is used in crafting Cables. It can also be used in place of Tin to craft Battery Packs.

Refined Iron[edit]

Refined Iron is an essential crafting ingredient for many Machines and Components. It is created by placing common Iron Ingots into any type of Furnace.

Refined Iron
  • Recipes:
Refined Iron is used to make many of the essential Machines (for example the Generator) and their Components. They are also essential in the crafting of Mining Pipes.

Tin[edit]

Almost as common as Copper, Tin is vital for crafting energy storage such as RE Batteries and Fuel. It is also used to craft Tin Cans for food storage.
