Not IdealEdit

The example discussion is not ideal. Talk pages are designed to facilitate discussion about the article and how to improve it, and not discussion about the general topic itself (though questions are very much tolerated and allowed in this wiki), much less about opinions and what not. Such discussions should be in a forum. Though opinions may also be tolerated, and even if they are, they shouldn't be an example, much less the only example, on a page named "talk page guidelines". As such, I will be changing the example once consensus is reached with the author of this page. --Anoymous712 04:16, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Is there a rule that tells you how many topics have to be made before an archive can be made? I think 25 is a nice number, so when a talk page gets more than 25 topics, move them to an archive. I've seen talk pages with more than 60 topics, that's a mess. -- TheWombatGuru t | c NL Admin 19:05, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
