Slab bug[edit]

What this could be? It appeared when i placed a brick slab near it. --NEG4tive 13:24, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Not reproducible. Also, are you using mods? Seems like, with the stone flatlands...

No mods, i don't think any of them are even updated for 12w34b. I made the flatlands with MCedit. (the block that glitched was brick stairs, if that helps) --NEG4tive 12:44, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

This happened to me in 1.2.5, too. --☺ Sven ? ! 17:37, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Oo, so this isn't related to 12w34b's new corner stairs or anything.
  • Yes, this problem is at least 2-3 weeklies old. You can get inside-out versions of various stair and slab types. It's a visual glitch only, and logging out and in again usually fixes it.

Map behaviour[edit]

I created some maps 2-3 releases ago. I then duplicated one of them using the new 12w34a/b map-cloning crafting recipe. All seemed ok. I then tried to re-craft one of the dupes as a zoomed-out version. The result was a blank map with a white blob permanently stuck in one corner, and the blob doesn't seem to move as I move, nor does it rotate as I change facing. I'm currently several thousand blocks from my initial spawn point. Could it be that cloning a pre-12w34 map and then trying to zoom it inout is buggy? Would someone else mind trying this? Thanks very much. -- 12:16, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

On further inverstigation it seems it's not buggy as such, it's just that the centre of a heavily zoomed-out map can be a long way away from the area covered by the smaller-scale map and I hadn't appreciated just how far. More info on how the centres of maps are determined under the new system would still be appreciated. [Edits for clarity - you zoom out to larger scales, not in.]-- 15:25, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

L-shaped Bed[edit]

I'm in 1.3.1, and I placed a bed down while moving the mouse quickly, and got the bed in an L-shape. I am able to click on all 3 pieces of the L-shape and start breaking it. I haven't seen any reference to a bug like this, so I'm guessing it's still there but I haven't tried to reproduce it in the latest snapshot: 00:59, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

I've seen it too, but didn't take a screenshot at the time. -- 01:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Eggs in item frames[edit]

-- 10:02, 3 September 2012 (UTC) I was building a town in creative mode, while I noticed that it is impossible to place chicken eggs in item frames, since the frame get destroyed and the egg spawns a baby chicken.

NPCs fall through solid blocks[edit]

-- 15:00, 5 September 2012 (UTC) In most games it is a common bug, but since I installed this pre-release mobs of every kind falls through solid block (not only single layer, they go through thick walls or floors and they die inside them). Also, it has became impossible for me to breed animals since they occasionally walk out the fence...
