Gameplay[]

Bugs

[X] Items, but not mob type entities, will bounce off of any block that has a visible hitbox where there is actually empty space (NOT Slabs!!) if they are thrown onto such empty space. Can easily be recreated by simply tossing an item into a cauldron. The item in question bounces about, usually bouncing out of whatever was supposed to hold it. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 12:36, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

when you deploy water in a dispenser the bucket left behind will not suck it back up.

Please sign your posts, use four tildes (~~~~), and don't forget the bug tag {{bl}} in front when classifying bugs, you do not need an account to do so. As far as this goes, dispensers seem to be behaving normally. I have a "hot tub" on one of my creative worlds, seems to be working just fine as it is retracting the water as normal. When i shoot a bow in creative superflat mode on tunnelers dreams the arrow just fell to the ground after 1 block of going but some how if a Mob is in a block range of 3 blocks or less it can get shot. it still happens when i have it a small medium or a large charge or maximum charge on the bow it falls to the Ground. Oh and also it goes to where i aimed it after like 5 seconds.

Annoyances

[A] Dropping or picking up an object while breaking a block resets the cracks

[A] Related to this, when breaking a block while holding the type of block you are breaking, when you pick it up, the next block you break will have its cracks reset; this is most obvious when holding dirt to break dirt. -- Liquid Spark 06:32, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

[A] Item Frames still get destroyed by creeper explosions when mobGriefing gamerule is set to false

Not a bug, moving to annoyances. Same behavior can be experienced with paintings. 'Tis because they are entities, not blocks. A creeper explosion (or any explosion for that matter) will always produce this result, unless they are to "fix" this. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 18:35, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Bugs

[X] Animal types (sheeps, cows, etc.) Push other animal types through walls/fences, or they walk through them on their own. 76.181.157.21 06:30, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

[X] I was on superflat mode when i went to the nether on Creative. Then a ghast just dove straight into lava and was on fire but it didn't die. then i tried killing it with a diamond sword but it still didn't die after about 30 hits. also 1 zombie pigman went into lava and just swam in in it and it didn't die. From Stryker334, my in game name. 12:30 PM (EST)

Ghasts and zombie pigmen are immune to fire and lava. This is not a bug. The only possible bug here is not being able to kill a ghast with a diamond sword, although I'm skeptical as to whether you were hitting it right; Ghasts are quite large, making this hitbox difficult to judge. --Kahless61 18:18, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
I was hitting it everywhere on its top bottom side side side side everywhere it didn't die. From stryker334 4:25PM (EST) december 19th 2012
For some reason you can only damage them from below. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.73.152.184 (talk) at 23:30, 19 December 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Annoyances

I have noticed this as well, but only on single player. Doesn't seem to happen on multiplayer. Very annoying, since I have all of my sheep in a large fenced area, and almost every time I load the world I need to get some more wheat to lead them back inside. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 18:26, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Same here. I noticed this in version 1.4.2. This is different from the problem of animals visually glitching through fences and then suddenly snapping back inside - in this case, the animals actually go through the fence and don't snap back - they need to actually be led back in. I've actually watched a chicken slowly phase through a fence. Doubling up on fences horizontally seems to prevent them from escaping, although they will get stuck between fences (often in corners). Also doesn't seem to happen on SMP or LAN. --Kahless61 18:40, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
On my sheep pen, the fences are 3 blocks tall and there is a glass and cobblestone roof. The only part that is not that pig is the entry which is a fence gate with one empty space above to allow player entry. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 18:42, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
I said horizontal - that means your fences need to be 2 blocks wide, not high. --Kahless61 18:45, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh. Hopefully I can find a few trees within the now almost desertlike world of mine without traveling 3000 blocks. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 18:56, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

[X] Chickens, Cows, Sheep and pigs spawn in trees, and you must free them for them to move. This also means your planted trees.Epicest_Gamer 7:17 AM December 19, 2012

Sounds[]

Bugs

[X] No music or sounds, at all.

Sign your posts. Use ~~~~. You do not need an account to do so. As far as this is concerned, I've noticed this since 1.3, usually restarting your launcher will fix this. This is a bug, moving. Added bug tag {{bl}} to the front in correspondence to being moved to the bugs section. User:Trigger hurt(I|T|C) Check out my project! 18:45, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Bugs

When starting a LAN server, the IP given out is all zeroes, supposed to be fixed. 66.214.91.24 00:24, 7 December 2012 (UTC)Anonymous

Annoyances

Still getting this glitch where all the numbers are zeros :/ Me too it's always 000.000.0000 oh and my usernames wjp02

[A] After trading enough times with a villager, a red "X" appears over the arrow in the menu. When you place an item on the right slot in the menu and hover it with the mouse (making it's name appear), the name will appear below the arrow with the "X".
