If you believe you have been wrongfully blocked, you may discuss the block on your talk page, which you usually will still be able to edit.
Minecraft Wiki Admin noticeboard
Shortcuts

The admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

  • This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post any discussions on the community portal talk page.
  • Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
  • Do not post deletion requests here; instead, the page should be tagged for deletion.
  • Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
  • Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
  • For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.
  • For issues with filters preventing edits from being saved: filters are not able to be disabled for specific people. However, an admin may be able to perform the edit themselves for you. "New user" filters expire after you log in and make some edits around the wiki.

Table of slscool

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for speedy deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene.

If a user must be reported here, do not create a new section. Instead, add * {{vandal|Example user}} Your concise reason (e.g. vandalised past 4th warning). ~~~~ in the Block requests section.

If a protection or unprotection request must be requested here, do not create a new section. Instead, add * {{la|Example page}} '''duration (temporary or indefinite) and protection level''': Your concise reason (e.g. constant spam and vandalism). <nowiki>~~~~ in the Protection requests section.

Please post new topics at the bottom of the page by clicking the "add topic" button above.

Current issues

I am making a page on command bits-Blocked???

I was blocked for creating a bits page to aid others in commands. The one I was currently making was about the "HideFlags" bit for the display tag. I hit save to save my work for the day and it said this: (An automated filter has detected that you are attempting to create a possibly unwanted page. As a new user, your action has been disallowed. If you believe your edit was constructive, please post a message on the admin noticeboard or notify an admin directly.) The text I put down only had a few bits on it: 1-8, 16 and 32. Luigirox901 (talk) 07:08, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

There really isn't enough content there to justify making a separate page for it. -- Orthotopetalk 21:01, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

1.7.7 released

Please update Template:Version to 1.7.7, as a new client update was released today (April 9, 2014). EthanCentaurai (talk) 15:56, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Done. -- Orthotopetalk 17:57, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
Thank you! :) EthanCentaurai (talk) 18:00, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Someone asked me to get rid part of a page because he was a new user he was not allowed me too just to let you know 96.49.236.201 01:31, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Updates to Template:Version

The links of the Playstation 3 and Xbox edition links need to both link to the Console Edition version history pages. Also, the Xbox version is now 1.6.1 (TU seems to be used interchangeably between both Playstation and Xbox360 editions) and the Playstation 3 version is now 1.05. GoandgooTalk

Accidentaly added data values to potions

due to a stupid mistake I added "data values" to http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Potions. and now i don't have permissions to remove it.

Section removed. (I am not an admin here) --GreenStone (talk) 21:06, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Accidentaly added data values to spawn eggs aswell

I'm sorry, I didn't see the data values already were on the spawn eggs page. (http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Spawn_Egg#Data_values) could someone please remove the Data values part I added. Again I'm sorry I made the same mistake 2 times in a row now.

Can edit an existing page, but not create a page

I've been trying to create a wiki page for my Minecraft server (it has recently gone public), but I cannot create the page because of the automated filter. I edited a page (resource pack page), and I could edit that perfectly, but I can't create my own

As per wiki rules #10 and #11, we don't allow articles about specific servers or members of the fan community. -- Orthotopetalk 07:30, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
The page isn't even supposed to be advertising, plus it will have information about the team, plus it isn't a fan community either

Mrmappy (talk) 07:34, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Mrmappy

How the page is written doesn't matter; the mere existence of an article is a promotion, so we don't allow them under any circumstances. -- Orthotopetalk 07:59, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

Spelling Error

Hello, my name is Jeff, and this is one of the first times I had ever used a forum, so I am still somewhat new at this, so forgive me if I am making a post in the wrong forum. But anyways, I would just like to let the admins know about a small spelling error at the bottom of a page that bugged me. http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/File:Updated_Potions_Craft_guide.png It says "certon" instead of certain. I tried to edit it, but I am still relatively new to using the internet, because I have been living under a rock for so long, so I couldn't figure out how to get the edit thing to work. So I am just letting you guys know. Thanks! –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Zaatharos (talkcontribs) 19:31, 18 April 2014 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Too long protection

I discovered the talk page for the minecraft wiki Adminastraters is protected from creation until 8641, a time very long from now. I suggest that it should be indefinite instead. 98.244.145.237 21:43, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

I'm not sure how to comment here, so I just edited this in.
Can Resource packs change item names? because with resource pack it says Roofed oak, and without it says dark oak.
anyways, I'm sorry for the mess I've made :P –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Reijerzzz (talkcontribs) ‎ 07:29, 23 April 2014‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

script error in blocksprite template

When I scroll down to the Full List on this page: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Template:BlockSprite#Full_List it says: "Here is a full list of blocks: Script error". When I click on Script error, it says "Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter exited with status 152." –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Reijerzzz (talkcontribs) 10:11, 23 April 2014‎ (UTC). wooden slabs missing from blocksprite template

all wood slabs except for oak wood are missing from the BlockSprite template (http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Template:BlockSprite) Reijerzzz (talk)

Sprites are added as needed, and thus far there is no need for each individual wooden slab, especially with the any wooden slab. --KnightMiner (talk|contribs) 14:22, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
I just created the Data Values part of Slabs but i couldn't add sprites for the different types of wood slabs, so I had to use the sprites of the full blocks. Reijerzzz (talk)
