Minecraft Festival is an in-person Minecraft convention similar to MINECON that is planned to be held in Orlando, Florida, in 2022 on Fall at unspecified day. It was originally set to be held in late 2020, but was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2] The online portion of the event is called Minecraft Live![sic][3]

Announcement[edit]

At MINECON Live 2019 on September 28, 2019, it was announced that Minecraft Festival would be held in Orlando, Florida, on September 25–27, 2020.

On March 5, 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed until Fall 2021, due to safety concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

On September 3, 2020, during the announcement of Minecraft Live 2020, is was announced that the festival has been postponed to an unspecified date in 2022.[2]

Location[edit]

Minecraft Festival will be held in the South Hall at the Orange County Convention Center, located at 9899 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819.[citation needed]

Tickets[edit]

Tickets will be available for purchase online beginning on January 24, at noon EST through the Minecraft Festival website.

There is a limit of 12 tickets per transaction. Attendees are able to purchase up to four Upgrade Package Tickets (Diamond and Gold) and eight tickets of any other type.[citation needed]

Minecraft Festival tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cape[edit]

It was announced that those attending Minecraft Festival would receive an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java and Bedrock editions.
