The chest that symbolises the inventory
A tappable is an object on the map in Minecraft Earth that a player must tap several times to extract items that go into the inventory.
Types and rarity
The tappables encountered within the player's reach radius can be any of:
- Chest
- Grass
- Pond
- Stone
- Animals: Chicken, Cow, Pig, Sheep
- Trees: Birch, Oak, Spruce
Each tappable contains items that are collected in the player's inventory. Up to three different blocks or items from the following lists can be collected from each tappable. There are five tiers of rarity for all blocks, items, and mobs available in tappables. The rarity can be identified by the colored outline around the item.
- Common = gray
- Uncommon = green
- Rare = blue
- Epic = purple
- Legendary = yellow
Chest tappables
Chest tappables contain resources that are either crafted or unobtainable through other tappables. They can also contain high tiered loot from adventures. Up to three unique items can appear from a Chest tappable.

There are three types of tree tappables, each of which yields logs, leaves, and/or saplings corresponding to the type of tree tapped:

Mob tappable
Tapping one of these mobs puts the mob in the player's inventory. The player can place them on a build plate.
- Chicken (Common); can also drop one or more feathers or eggs when collected; can rarely be an Amber Chicken (uncommon), Cluckshroom (rare), Midnight Chicken (uncommon), Stormy Chicken (uncommon), Bronzed Chicken (uncommon), or Fancy Chicken (rare)
- Cow (common); can rarely be an Albino Cow (uncommon), Ashen Cow (uncommon), Moobloom (rare), Sunset Cow (uncommon), Wooly Cow (uncommon), or Cookie Cow (uncommon).
- Pig (common); can rarely be a Muddy Pig (epic), Pale Pig (uncommon), Piebald Pig (uncommon), Spotted Pig (uncommon), or Pink Footed Pig (uncommon).
- White Sheep (common); can rarely be a Flecked Sheep (uncommon), Horned Sheep (rare), Inky Sheep (uncommon), Rocky Sheep (uncommon), or Rainbow Sheep (epic).
