Behavior

Passive

The Wandering Trader was a merchant that appeared in the player's camp after the player beat the Pumpkin Pastures level. As of the 1.4.3.0 update, the Wandering Trader has been removed, with its functionality replaced by the Mystery Merchant.

Usage[edit]

This NPC, in exchange for emeralds, would give to the player random artifacts with power levels that range around the current power level of the player. Buying artifacts from the Wandering Trader would always cost twice the amount of emeralds than buying gear from the Blacksmith.

Note that the power level of the player is determined upon entering the camp, therefore if you equip items with higher power levels in the Camp, it does not count towards the power level when trading with the Wandering Trader. To work around this, exit to the main menu and join back in.

Trivia[edit]

  • Despite being removed in version 1.4.3.0, the Wandering Trader can still be seen at the camp's loading screen, alongside the Trader Llama.
    • You can also still hear Wandering Trader sounds in the camp, coming from the new merchants.
